@zeus5566 Nah- sold separately. I had this set when I was a kid. Kirk, Spock, Uhura, Scotty and the Klingon were easy to find back then. Bones was not. :(
@Sheri451 I discovered TAS first back in '73, before TOS was syndicated. Imaging the shock of a 6 year, to see a favorite Saturday morning cartoon in TOS live action, lol
I had these figures and the Enterprise when I was a kid. Bought another old Spock and Kirk mint in package from a toy dealer back in the 90s and still have them now. Orginal ones not the reproductions.
@ClarkSavageJr: Guess what-THEY'RE BACK!! A new company has bought the original Mego molds, and is making new Star Trek Mego-type toys for fans to buy and use as they did when they were kids...or to pass along to their kids!
@MrFlashBazbo I would love to, but my girlfriend won't let me! I love Star Trek model kits, and she thinks I'm a total nerd for making them! Enjoy your toys mate, lol!!!!
That's sad about your GF....Mine BUYS me toys!! We go to ToysRus Alla Time!!! People know us by name there!! And the workers give us suggestions..NEVER grow up dude NEVER!! (BTW I'm 47...Cyndi Lu is 40)
@MrFlashBazbo Well I'm 42, and I still love my Star Trek model kits! Your GF sounds cool, does she have a sister who tolerates Star Trek nerds? (only kidding!, lol!). Please get your GF to email my GF and persuade her to buy me toys! My GF is pissed with me 'cause I just spent £80 ($117) on the HUGE 1:350 scale Enterprise kit; tried to tell her it was an investment! (She's gonna be even more pissed when she finds out that I ordered a Klingon Battlecrusier kit off ebay!). Take care mate....
Oh Gods! This brings back memories!. I had this vynil and cardboard playset, as well as the very blue walkie talkies shaped like communicators, the original phaser game, etc. Damn my eyes for not keeping them as collectibles.
I used to have a Meco Star Trek Tricorder, which was a stylized tape recorder. I was 12 back then. Side A on the tape had clips from the first 3 episodes, and Side B was blank, so I could record my own adventures. So much fun. One can see a Meco Star Trek Communicator (a stylized walkie talkie) in the Youtube clip "The Kids From C.A.P.E.R."
I had this when I was a kid. Loved it.

I'm sorry, but toys were much better when we were kids. I know people think we're just being "old fuddy duddys", but it's the plain truth!

@CountryRoadTrip My kids have toys that were broken in a few days...I have old Megos that are over 35 years old and still look great...
joeyvader 1 year ago
Notice the kids are actually playing with it OUTSIDE.
What a concept.
Ah, the days befor video games when kids actually used thier bodies for something other than getting fat.

@mattparkman I agree with you 100%; I used to play with my Star Wars figures in my garden; how many kids do that now?
