I think the Audi R8 is one case where the Matchbox version is superior to the Hot Wheels version, if just because the Matchbox version is diecast on top, while the Hot Wheels one has a diecast chassis but a plastic body. I'd rather have both body and chassis be diecast, but, if Mattel is going to cheap out and have one plastic, I want the body to be diecast and the chassis plastic (the logical way).

@aeroaa2 i got a 1989 audi quattro which drives like a charm and needs less than a drop of maintenance. If you have-to repair it that often then it's not the cars fault, it's the drivers
