No friend, all movie performers prefer being called actors now. I think it has something to do with the name of their union, "Screen Actor's Guild" not including the word actress in its' title.

Winona is a totally fan unfriendly actor. She doesn't do autographs, she never answers fan mail and she lives like a hermit, never doing anything for or with the people who make her a millionaire, why be her fan?

There was an interview with her in an issue of US Vogue. The journalist mentioned that she refuses to sign autographs for under thirteens.

I have no idea. To be honest, I'm not sure how many under thirteens have heard of her or seen many of her films. So maybe it's just a way of her not signing any at all. The journalist doesn't mention why in the article.

it's not her job to be nice to people she doesn't even know. people pay money to see her performances, to see what she's done in a movie. this is her job, this is what she's paid for.
