dragonforce just prevails. i've seen both bands live and both are brilliant, although i thought sabaton were perhaps slightly better. sabaton also have a VERY VERY powerful sound, but dragonforce are SO original in they're music and so unique lyrically and musically. they did have a singer with a great voice and have herman li who is one of the greatest guitarists i have ever seen. like i said, both are among my favorites, but dragonforce win by the skin of they're teeth.

Dagonforce and Sabaton are both amazing bands, yes they are power metal but they are DIFFERENT. These 2 bands are my favorite bands I like them both equally. Dragonforce STARTED PROPERLY IN 2002 NOT 2007, IDIOTS WHO SAY 2007 ARE STUPID. Dragonforce are much bigger than Sabaton therefore are more inclined to leave shows more quickly, when Sabaton want to get all the fans to introduce their music around. At the moment i prefer Sabaton Coat of Arms is amazing. anxious about DF'S new singer aswell.

I met both Sabaton and Dragonforce at the same gig, and I must say, Sabaton are overall better guys, besides their music, cause they actually spoke to the fans, and Sam Totman from DF buggered off and got wasted (even more) and ZP was on the phone to someone lols, but Sabaton stuck about for a bit :D

All I can say is that I've seen these two bands share the same stage on the same night twice. The first time, Sabaton were the opening act along with Edguy and Dragonforce where nowhere near as good as either of them. The second time Sabaton were the main support act and they absolutely wiped the floor with Dragonforce. Dragonforce are inconsistent live but Sabaton put on a astonishing show every single time, and IMO their better on record to.
