i don't mind playing as a female heroine. i think its nice that SE steers away from the typical male heroes kind-of-story and to focus more on something fresh. through out FF franchise we only have but 2 female leads. i don't think lighting looks anything like ashe. she actually looks cool and heck if i was gay i would totally dig someone like lighting XD.

the battle system is not completely free, but basically it just like ffxii but it's just at a much more faster paste and your are moving with it. No wait through you are doing actions and at the same time putting them in, but there is a limit on how many commands can be put in a time.

The difference between the PS3 and the Xbox 360 is that the PS3 has more GB than the xbox 360 non premium. The xbox 360 non premium only consist of the system and a wired controller. While teh PS3 consist USB cables, 1 wireless controller, the ps3, and one movie. Also while the xbox 360 can play the old xbox games, it cant play most of them while PS3 can even play ALL the classic games from ps1 AND ps2. Although it wasn't worth 600 bucks, its more like 500 bucks to me.

"Final Fantasy XIII" and "Kingdom Hearts 3" are good reasons alone to get a PS3! The battle system in this one looks similar to that of FFXII (currently released on the PS2), only more advanced! Can't wait to play it!

The story was really incomplete, it felt like things really just jumped forward skipping so much when you got to Giruvegan, no other Final Fantasies felt like this, all of them had a beginning middle and end, for me FFXII had a beginning and end, no middle. Anyway, I'm thinking Square is past the point where they want quality, they want pretty graphics most.

I disliked 12, just finished it today. It was waaay to easy, even the Zodiac (most powerful enemy in the game) was a pushover. I liked the battle system though that isn't a surprise, only one I didn't like was VIII and that also had to do with game mechanics. However anything in the battle system that was good was off-put by everything else.

i think the FF games are so good BECAUSE of there gameplay. they shouldnt improve to get it more violent and faster. the most important thing in FF are the charakters and the story. the battlesystem should be round-based, not such egoshootershit!
