hi selif just letting you know that ive watched all of your videos, loved everymoment of it. Ive noticed some things, your a brilliant builder and i want to see the ice castle and mansion finished. Also i like the design of the main station, i have lots of bases in my MC world and i think ill use this design. Keep up the good work pal
@SGWyoshi I record at 848x480 (the size of the Minecraft window) and then I have the video editor render it at 1280x720. What I really need is to find a way to come up with the cash to build a new desktop gaming machine.. something built to optimize Minecraft performance. Unfortunately that could easily take another six months or more at the rate things are going now. It sucks but that's life.
Nice. Just curious but do you have any intention of starting a new world for the Jungle biomes? Seeing how much work you've put into your world I'm guessing not. I've grown too attached to my world to start another just for one biome (though I may use MC Edit and just import this world into a new one).
@DarkPhysalis I'll just be travelling farther in some direction to generate new chunks when the time comes. heck, i haven't even found an NPC village or Mooshrooms yet
@selif1 I was planning on doing the same but it seems with Jungle biomes you can't just generate new terrain. It will only generate in a world created in that version (1.2 or whatever that new upcoming version is) and above.
There is a work around but it involves changing a value in a certain file and while it will generate Jungle biomes in older worlds it will also screw up biomes in that world as well.
@selif1 No in this case it actually will never generate a Jungle biome at all. The only way to get a Jungle biome is to generate a completely new world in the new version when it's released.
As I said you can edit one file it seems to make it (Minecraft) think it's a newer world so it'll generate a Jungle biome but it will screw up things (ie it might make a desert biome start snowing, etc).
So I'll just cut my world and paste it in a new one using MCEdit rather than do that.
If u go to a guys channel named swordsman75 he shows in one of his previous videos how you can run minecraft much smoother and less laggy. Hope it helps. Nice vid :))

@selif1 Also have you tried Gamebooster 3 or the OptiFine mod? They will probably boost your FPS .

@OrangeBookify I use both Gamebooster and OptiFine. I also reboot and stop everything i'm not using while recording

Recording in less than 720p would probably decrease lag. I'd rather have a less clear image than a skippy one

@DarkPhysalis no surprise there. all biome changes screw up older worlds. For example, there is entirely too farking much ocean

@selif1 If you do wish to find jungle biomes you WILL HAVE TO start a new world. You can't just go to new chunks.

@LoveToPKu I saw that video. It depends on using 64bit Java and I'm stuck on 32bit windows xp pro.
