  • Amazing..:)

  • I tried listening to this again pretending that it was back live on the radio. Such an unforgettable, once in a lifetime moment. I cancelled all my plans just to listen to it that day with a beer. I haven't had chills like that in a LONG time, I've missed those dam chills you get from some special pieces of music!

  • Awesome, just needs a little more Nero dub dub to smash in!

  • Amazing they all are, dyin to see them live, hope to this year! Could listen to this all day......

  • This is the most epic cornish pasty i've ever eaten

  • 4:49 soooo good! omfg

  • Is it just me who found this incredibly boring??

  • I just shat my brain

  • A new expression will be born from this "Man that was filthy, but classy too"

    Thanks for a massive share.

  • what a ridiculous way to validate an invalid genre of music. and, anyway, why is it "Nero's" symphony? traditionally it's the artist who actually wrote the orchestral parts (i.e. not Nero)

  • @PhoenixUKhardcore NERO did write those parts dude.....They wouldn't be credited with it if they DIDN'T.

  • @lazorman8 Just to expand, of course they wrote those pieces, they're not just kids who've started making music, they both have university degrees in it..

  • @PhoenixUKhardcore Have you ever tried to make dub step? I know it sounds harsh but can you even imagine engineering the sounds required? Where to begin? How to mix? Please, art takes many forms... you're an artistic bigot; and the worst.

  • @foldoun well spoken

  • @PhoenixUKhardcore As a musician... HE DID RIGHT THOSE PARTS.. Maybe if you knew something about music you would understand. Music is everywhere, music is everything.. Nothing is music.. Music is a thing we do every second of the day. It's a part of us.. Understand that dubstep is a genre of music not for the beats, but for the way it interacts with you... Grow up, learn and live some more... maybe listen to CLASSICAL!

  • @TheRomnas oops write***

  • @TheRomnas ok good speech professor but WTF was that thing about music being a part of me....You just sounded like a ********** <-----(word has not been invented yet)

  • @IxNOvaSNipezxI Music is a part of everything we do dude... and the word hasn't been invented yet? Makes you sound like a *********** <-------- add your stupid word here..

  • @TheRomnas indeed i will..thank you for your time.......just kidding i dont really care to be honest..

  • @PhoenixUKhardcore you can't sit down with a copy of logic or reason and, days, weeks or months later, claimed to have created a full orchestral symphony. the real talent behind the vast majority of this performance is presumably Joe Duddell - who is as much a composer as he is a conductor - and, of course, the instrumentalists. nero have heavily overplayed their part in a performance where they were largely outshone by the real musicians

  • @PhoenixUKhardcore aaahahaha you're a music nazi ... XD

  • @PhoenixUKhardcore You don't really know what you're talking about, mate. There are shitloads of composers who put their work together using DAWs like Logic and such'n'such. If you're not into a style of music, fine. At least have the grace to not be ignorant about why.

  • I could see this in a commercial in the year 2067 about some commercial space exploration

  • NICEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE !

  • Einfach nur geil einfach nur der Wahnsinn!

  • the hands of the violinists at 05.28 look like CGI!! Perfect timing!!

  • ♥ nero

    ♥ music

    ♥ dubstep

  • You absolute star, I missed this, thanks for taking the time to upload, great job! Going to enjoy this then check some of your hang stuff!

  • love

  • I LOVE THIS!

  • For anyone who likes this, please listen to Shostakovich's Leningrad symphony, its 100000x better than this

  • This is still the best thing I have ever heard in my life.

  • i cant't belive, that 118 People Dislike this .. This Video FTW !!

  • WOW worth the Licence fee alone

  • Did You listen that live??anyone? I saw so many bad comments on this when they gone live and yet its awesome, ppl complained about dubstep sounds... this is not dubstep they said... its freaking symphony better then anything

  • I loved it!

  • WOAH! That's amazing<3

  • Nice lead trumpet hold over and kiss-off at 13:01

  • <OneHundredEighteen....hearless.

  • wow, it's true, you can polish a turd!

  • This isn't dubstep... It's something else entirely. It reminds me of some of the tracks off of the soundtrack of The Matrix. I liked it, very dynamic composition. I just don't think it's dubstep at all really...

  • @sknate303 want some cookies?

  • Dubstep meets The Dark Night :D

  • @indertorte true true

  • New inception soundtrack.

  • dam. this music is awesome;. i have to admit the orchestra does sound a little bit suspenseful.

  • People who play in orchestras are like gods to me. Every concert is like watching a Super-Super-Group formed from the very best from any other field of music.

  • best bit is 4:00 - 6:00

  • I saw Nero live :*) My kids are gonna be soo jealous.

  • Comment removed

  • Oh. My. Zeus.

    I need new pants.

  • Fuck All of the 118 people that Dislikes this, Seriously How The Fuck ! ! !

  • @mcrhelana I haven't made a single like or dislike to this video, i may not like it all that much, but don't you agree people are entitled to like or dislike music? I understand you don't care about their opinions of course.

  • @mcrhelana they might be, oh, i don't know, classical music fans, over the age of 14 or not in possession of cochlear implants. who knows.

  • fuckin epic

  • fabuleux.... pas mieux

  • This is legen... wait for it... dary!

  • Rewelacja!!!! Nic dodac nic ujac!

  • I have no words to describe this. Perhaps amazing, beautiful, genius. And this words are not enough..

  • Watched this originally back when it got uploaded and I'm still watching it. It is some of the best stuff I've heard in long time. I'm no Dubstep expert, so if there is other stuff like this I should listen to that you all think is better let me know.

  • Oh my freaking gawd

  • this is good, but i feel magnetic man combined the genres better

  • nice use of the timpani

  • Thumbs up if actually watched this all the way through. This is godlike.

  • 06:05 I love this part

  • This is an amazing peice of music and a fantastic marriage of two different genres. It was nice to hear real instruments rather then the same old computerised crap. This song is fantastic, a musical masterpiece - those that are so blind to think dubstep must be all WUB WUB and chainsaw noises really need to go get educated, you're as bad as those tweenagers who listen to Justin Beiber and think that's music.

  • these middle aged white people are like WTF?!?!

  • i remember driving to great yarmouth for the birth of my first son and this was on the radio. brings back a very good memory for me

  • LOL at nero chillin at the front on their laptops while the orchestra are actually using losing breath while playing, nero didnt break a sweat

  • I can imagine that if Michael Kamen was still alive he would of written the charts for this.

  • @alexmartin51 I was thinking how awesome Kamen would've done this!

  • +++++++ jeeeeeeez!!!!! thanks nero and bbc1 always breaking barriers to realize great music is just that! there are no labels and specific genres to get you to be aired. you just have to know what great music is!

  • If you put Steve Reich, Hans Zimmer, James Horner, Cliff Mansell, Jean Michel Jarre and Cliff Martinez in the same room, they would still need Dan Stephens and Joseph Ray to complete the piece. Just Daft Punk and Vangelis left to answer to.....that, I look forward to seeing.

  • Easier to do revision to than skrillex :L

  • this is just awesome. but i hoped all the time they will play 'Angst' :D

  • The BBC Phil are simply the best xx

  • Amazing !!!!!!!

  • Everytime... I imagine either a 18 minute long epic video game demo or the ultimate 18 minute trailer to a movie

  • @EmpyreOfTHUGa or NERO's CD: Welcome Reality being the soundtrack of an Epic film and this dubstep symphony being the song that plays during the credits :D

  • 116 people can't appreciate music of another genre

  • also, before you youtubers rage, this IS my personal opinion on the matter, If you think differently that's fine. But when i looked at the title and saw "Nero's Dubstep Symphony" i expected decent dubstep, not a bunch of "oh oh we are gonna dangle you with ittttt...and only ONCE does actual dubstep EVER hit." this song lacked substance, and was mainly smoke and mirrors. I'll go get my fix by listening to Equinox or Narcissistic Cannibal. though i will agree with someman7, Action Movie Material.

  • @starclawfireblade LMAO "Dubstep" and "Equinox" in the same sentence. Wtf is wrong with you.

  • @SubsonikPanda Wrong....such an interesting word. Did you know that all words in every language are in simplistic and basic truth, opinionated? that no matter what the word, even the meaning, it is all up to the person who says it? Bird dance jumping jacks. By personal opinion, i could change that to mean "fuck your fat mother" or "you are awesome dude" or whatever else. Remember, what i stated earlier is my opinion. And in my opinion, yours does not matter. Have a nice day.

  • @starclawfireblade Hahaha what the hell are you on about???

  • @SubsonikPanda take in a deep breath, focus, and take that focus to understand. once you understand everything i have said, give me an actual relevant reply. If not, just stop replying to me now, before you get confused any further.

  • @starclawfireblade Are you a Skrillex fanboy or a smartass? Make up your mind kid.

  • @SubsonikPanda I'm a music lover, a story writer, and done with you. i was hoping this little battle of wits would end up showing you were fighting with your arms behind your back. But it seems you didn't have any arms in the first place. i pity you. i'll take my sword and gun elsewhere. i hope some time you make more of a challenge for me.

  • @starclawfireblade You obviously need some fucking sunlight.

  • i feel the song was more repetitive building with false drops, then, the RARE drop and go into dubstep, most of the time it was all about making big sounds and the notes tend to repeat for a lot of them. As is, the use of the full orchestra really wasn't needed. Does not compare to Equinox or Reptile in terms of the dubstep I know. as heavy would say "Whut sick mahn sends BABEHS to fight me?" Now stop comparing Skrillex to the two. You are scaring the BBC out of their Dubstep Diapers.

  • could be music for a movie, but it wouldn't be called dubstep. where's the drop? i waited and i waited.

  • Skrillex's Orchestral Suite should give a four-hands handjob to THIS

  • I think it was pretty clear that the instrumentalists didn't think much of what they were playing, but fair enough, i can guarantee none of them listen to dubstep out of choice. However to the acute ear of a dubstep listener that was a seriously sweet tune!

  • @reddeadrover I don't understand how you know what the instrumentalists are thinking. Are you psychic?

  • @rednals Not at all, but are you suggesting that the members of the Philharmonic orchestra do listen to dubstep out of choice? Look at their facial expressions. Yeah they're concentrating but they just look bland, watch a violinist playing properly and you would see what i mean. It's the same as if i have to play a song that i don't enjoy it's going to be obvious as i cant get into it. If i was playing a song that requires no skill but i enjoy playing it, then it would be visible in my face.

  • @reddeadrover

dont give a shit what they listining to bitch! this is there job, play fucking instrument(whathever) music style and go home after. what is your problem you sick fuck!? are you fucking stupid? do you think people playing instruments daily(as a job) enjoy music? some yes-some not. well paid(happy), home after, smiley face, glass of wine and LIFE GOES ON!

  • @dubman071 What, why are you so angry. Calm down dude.

  • There is cum coming out of my ears.

  • sounds very Hanz Zimmer

  • @dannybio208 its actually innocence

  • CAN SOME1 TELL ME WHAT nero song comes in at 5:08 please? the instrumental is so sick

  • @dannyboi208 Symphony 2808

  • I just came..... HARD.....

  • converted to 3d and shockwave flash crashed in an instant -_- but epic

  • Saw this when it was streaming live, and thought wow.

The skills of the orchestra to play are good enough, but whoever put it into a compelation that an orchestra could play also deserves big respect!

Very much enjoyable and shows skills from both genre's can combine into something like this!

  • I changed it to 1080p and my flash crashed, lol, no kidding! =D

  • wat? 3D :O

  • WHERE IS THE FCUKING DROP! I'm Still waiting for it!

  • simply gorgeous...

  • sounds like hans zimmer`s next song

  • 1. That is a huge ass orchestra.

    2. Live symphony + dubstep = genius

  • @ThisIsOvertone actually that is a pretty small orchestra and i was hope for a little more drum action. dont get me wrong it is tight.

  • @9:45 it sounds like something out of superman/batman

  • @lostsoulparty yeah :D same thought

  • love how the best bits are when the orcherstra arn't playing :P

  • Really great but disappointing finish to it 17:05 I'm ready for some insane drop but i'm left hanging :/

  • @Matt231193 That's because this isn't brostep, but rather dubstep. Real dubstep is more like trance than heavy club music, which is what brostep is.

  • @Alex06CoSonic real dubstep drops do not have the massive electronic ear shattering sound after the drop. It just drops and doesn't pick up heavy.

  • FILTHarmonic

  • What a waste of talent. That composition was incredibly lame. By the look on the musicians' faces, i'd say they agree.

  • @NateForLiberty They look like any other orchestra playing any other orchestral piece. They are doing what they do that is all, and most certainly not lame.

  • @drummer4life6988 Orchestral musicians are incredibly nuanced things. It takes direct experience with these strange creations to know the subtleties of their movements.

No, they don't look like any orchestra playing any ol' composition. They look like they are earning a paycheck, and that is all.

  • @drummer4life6988 Also, even though this is just one guy, this is FAR FAR better....

    Utube vid -- >> H_5j0uzlYfo

  • wow what a great fusion of dubstep and classical....As Russel Peter would say....Mind Blasting lol

  • pushing the music!!!!!!

  • Was quite pretty until the dubstep kicked in.

  • could skrillex do this my ass

  • Does anyone know how they made the Innocence vocals sound airy and like a whisper? @ 4:00 ish

  • @MacPhobia haha i asked myself the same question as i heard the vocals^^ .... maybe a vocoder? ... or he recorded it also as a whisper

  • @Schaark181 Yeah, I was thinking that it was a vocoder...

  • The translation of modern music for the older generation! :P

  • Now I know what to play next time I have sex with God, thanks.

  • I haven't been this hard in years.

  • this is THE SINGLE MOST BEAUTIFUL THING I HAVE EVER SEEN.

  • The combo is epic. It's very obvious this wasn't filmed in Hd. The 1080p is horrible.

  • @lfcard It may have originally been uploaded in 1080p, this guy isnt the original uploader or filmer. He probably just ripped the low res version.

  • 12:18 He makes all the difference.

  • this is so fuckin trippy! background to this acid trip...

  • um. Yeah, this was legit. TOO legit, to like quit.

  • wheres the brass

  • I wonder if Ridley Scott has already put the score for Prometheus together.

  • 404 what I love was not found. That being said. This was awesome.

  • Found this very easy to masturbate to.

  • @TheEditingShop Hahaha lol epic comment is epic! :D

  • @unjoyerplay came here to say that

  • somehow it still wasn't QUITE bassy enough :/

  • EPIC

  • I never tire of listening to this, I'm not an orchestra fan as such nor am I an avid dubstep fan but absolutely love this. To the haters, once you get ya head round the fact that the orchestra are making the sound with their own hands rather than using electronics it will dawn on you just how amazing this actually is. I will listen again and again and again. Love it and those that produced it :))

  • sound very much like somthing Hans Zimmer would write.

  • I think this is amazing, I think its perfectly balanced, I love how they have respected the orchestra's sound. I think it would of been too overpowering if there was more dubstepness. Mind blowing!

  • there is too much build up with the orchestra and not enough dubstep in it

  • i don't have word enought to describe this video!

  • Love It!!! It is just PERFECT.

  • eargasm

  • I'm curious exactly where the drop is...

  • was all cool, but shit really kicked in for me @4:50

  • In my opinion it sounds too similar to an epic song created for a movie like Lord of the Rings/Matrix/Inception... I know that there are limitations because it is an orchestra that is producing the music, but I think that it was missing the dubstep/electronica part... great song but it could have done a better job of combining the two genres.

  • at 5:20 they are all boning... to dubstep...

  • THOSE LAST 3 MINS (O)_(O)

  • (UK) BTW ;)

  • Who the Fk rpoduced this ?

  • @AQUAVIVARIA read the description

  • pretty legit

  • the dubstep part at the beginning was the worst part. middle to end was the best when the people were actually performing as one.
