  • I'm glad to see that people try to kill/harm the Dalai Lama the one that mirrors for them

their fears! With gratitude I watch them lash out in delusion. I'm reminded of the

larger number of fingers pointing at ourselves when we point at others. With

thanks I thank the energy of the universe for this opportunity.

To the Dalai Lama thank you for your work, simplicity, and compassion.

  • Who cares if it is accepted by the "stars"??!!

  • I think all this talk of politics has got nothing to do with the talk here. We are not talking about a relevance of an organization or even about Tibetan independence. Although Tibet is lost, Buddhism is thriving around the world. May it flourish even more before the teachings or its lineage disappear completely as predicted by Lord Buddha.

  • Delusions are unatural but we still think they are a part of ourselves, in the dark we cannot see things as they are

  • It is abundantly clear that the socalled WSS, mostly consisting of a few beligerent western unemployables in fact have no interest in the human rights situation of Tibetan Buddhists, the real kind. That would offend the buddha Shugdens main financial booster, the Communist Party of China, who have their own colonial agenda in the region, to divide and conquer. For that reason NKT and WSS are increasingly marginal and irrelevant despite their online smear campaign, their own demise is sealed.

  • That is so silly of the Communist Party of China to support the NKT or the WSS. China owns TIbet as easily as the US owns the territories that once were Mexican and Indian lands. Tibetans are now in the same situation as the Native Americans were in when the US was expanding west to conquer all that it has now from the east coast to the west. The WSS is simply about allowing a particular worship to continue, a worship that even the Dalai Lama and his teachers once had.

  • And his teachers never gave up. Maybe the Dalai Lama is such a great Scholar that it gets in the way of the compassion he should have towards those who wish to continue the worship. Suppose that the Jehova Witnesses were to become the dominant force in Christianity. Then they would have enough prestige and power to ask others to stop practicing Christmas. That is the same thing that is happening with the Dalai Lama asking monasteries to stop practicing Dorje Shugden practice.

  • I do practice at an NKT center. But I do respect the Dalai Lama and his teachings. The teachings of the NKT and of the Dalai Lama have the same lineage origins, Atisha and Je Tsongkapa, except that the Dalai Lama is further well versed in all other traditions of Tibetan Buddhism and that is why he is considered the greatest scholar of Tibetan Buddhism. This is why he had to drop Dorje Shugden because historically there was some conflict with other schools who felt Dorje Shugden threatened them.

  • I don't think His Holiness the Dalai Lama cannot be brought down or embarrassed by others no matter what is being said or done to him.

  • True, he is beyond the pettiness of human nature, he would have compassion for those who display such traits.

  • The prestige referred to here is diminished and tarnished by the NKT and WSS cultists spreading disgraceful lies on YouTube and their manipulative websites.

  • No way. The NKT and WSS cannot tarnish and don't care to tarnish the Dalai Lama. And China population compared to Tibet is a ratio of several thousands to 1. And now there are more Chinese in Tibet than there are Tibetans, so the Chinese don't have to worry about the Dalai Lama, and the US won't go into Tibet to liberate them, like they did for Iraq, because there is no interest (oil) in Tibet. The NKT simply has a difference in a dogma concerning a diety/Buddha/Dharma Protector.

  • The reason why Tibetan Buddhism has become so quickly mainstream and popular as a world religion due to the kindness of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. However, it is great Lamas like HE Tsem Tulku Rinpoche that spreads the Dharma far and wide.

  • Rinpoche has such great faith and devotion to His Holiness. Wow, he even compares HHDL to Shakyamuni Buddha, and that being at one of His Holiness teachings is likened to sitting at the feet of Buddha Shakyamuni May I too develop such great faith in my own Guru in this life and all future lives.

  • It is clear that Rinpoche has great devotion and love for the Dalai Lama. I mean, His Holiness is one of Rinpoches gurus and Rinpoche received the Eight Verses of Thought Transformation from H.H. when he was very young. Rinpoche is so serious in this talk, not like his usual lively joking self. He must respect His Holiness very very much.

  • Thanks tsemiscool for telling us that His Holiness is one of Tsem Tulkus guru. Tsem Tulku is very respectful when Rinpoche mentioned about his His Holiness throughout. I also learnt that there is a throne next to Tsem Tulku Rinpoches throne in Kechara House to show respect to His Holiness.

Just forget about the rumours that Rinpoche is against His Holiness. The rumours never end anyways and has no basis.

  • Tsem Tulku RInpoche really have strong guru devotion towards His Holiness the 145th Dalai Lama and is very respectful when Rinpoche mentioned about his Guru.

I think many people don't know that His Holiness is one of Rinpoche's students. There were even rumours that Rinpoche is against His Holiness, how foolish. They should really watch this video!

  • tsemiscool: all kinds of stupid people in this world who spread unfounded lies and rumors in order to derail good things from happening. I feel that this is a normal thing..

  • Its another amazing talk by H. E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche. He has a profound devotion for the Dalai Lama, his ordination master. He doesn't even joke in this one. Like I said in his other video, I love the fact that his devotion is grounded by the amazing qualities that we often neglect to notice.

  • Dungkar80: yea I do notice that he never makes fun of HHDL but he makes fun of everyone else. He dosent make fun of lineage masters or any of his Gurus or any master of any lineage. Truly a rare breed indeed

  • I met HH Dalai Lama in Australia, 2007, HH was so humble and love his teachings. What really amazed me is that, HH give the teaching in full english, just like Rinpoche......I can see from here, Rinpoche has the same vision with HH, they want to spread the Dharma and benefit more and more people out there......

  • gelugpa118: I feel that to me Rinpoche and HH is the same in nature as they were both direct disciples of Lama Tsongkhapa. To me speaking against Tsem Rinpoche is no different than speaking out agaisnt HHDL.

  • Yeah, there's alot of activities in KH, plus all these activities help us to collect merits, spreading the dharma and benefit people around us, this is why i like about Kechara House, always have something for people to do dharma work......

  • crazyindharma: that is just so cool of Kechara House. It's really Dharma for people of today..

  • Kechara basically accepts all walks of life to the center and has a lot of activities that anyone can join from painting statues, rolling mantras, give food to homeless, transcribing Dharma books etc. I have learnt a lot by visiting their websites.

  • Yeah we should not discriminate anyone especially people who are less fortunate than us. I see this point in Kechara Soup Kitchen where they dont discriminate the homeless in town. I joined them for a round last Sunday and they talked to them and remembered their names even! I was so amazed by what I saw. It is really inspiring! There are a few new volunteers like me who liked what we saw in KSK and would like to volunteer more in KSK!

  • Many people have been touched by HH Dalai Lama. Rinpoche's testimony is prove of that. HHDL is synonymous with Compassion. This world is so blessed to have Him around. Let's pray for his long life.

  • amkotechar: his compassion is genuine and real, unlike many other people which is why everyone is helplessly attracted to His Holiness

  • An vitalizing speech on what H.H. The Dalai Lama represents to his followers and people who has developed the buddhist way of "clear view".

    -inspiring and direction giving-

I refer "clear view" as viewpoint of the Dzogchen or Mahamudra - traditon.....

  • PS:

This talk is also a indication of what kind a warmhearted guru-student relationship should be.

  • TriBach108: i feel that this is what real Guru devotion should be. Achieving that state for us wont be easy tho..

  • TriBach108: from what I understand that clear view is developed by Guru Devotion: never seeing any of your Guru's faults and always maintaining the view that he is a Buddha.

  • Gang Ri Ra We Korwai Shing Kham Dir Pen Dang Dewa Malu Gyung Wai Ne Chenrezig Wang Tenzin Gyatso Yi Sha Pei Sithai Bardu Den Gyur Chig.

In this Holy Lang surrownded by snow mountains

You are the source of all benefit and Happiness

May your lotus feet, O Powerfull Chenrezig,Tenzin Gyatso

remain in this world until the end of existance.

  • buddhafollower: May I be able to support the Dalai Lama by helping him do his work of promoting the Dharma.

  • Can anyone come to your Kechara House?

  • Yes of course! KH doesn't exclude anyone, or have any restrictions or requirements you have to fulfil. If you check out Rinpoche's other teachings, you'll see he wants anyone and everyone to come...especially all of the people whom society finds weird or rejects, because they need the most help ;) KH has also set up a guesthouse so even overseas visitors like yourself have somewhere to stay! Go to kecharahouseDOTcom for the application form, and more info about the centre's activities :)

  • ps. Kechara is Sanskrit for Vajrayogini's paradise. Vajrayogini taught that *anyone* can go to her paradise. She didn't exclude any sentient beings. Therefore if she, a Buddha, did not exclude anyone, who are we (as unattained as we are!) to start excluding people? :)

  • What a Great reply. Sincerely.

But I hope there is substance behind philosophy. I have lived in foreign cultures which had outward appearance of nicety and friendliness resented foreigners. When I visit Kechara, I hope I do not get this vibe.

  • amitp2 : everyone is welcomed to Kechara House, irregardless of whatever race or any of those boundaries. But do let us know when you're here :)

  • thank u

  • Merveilleuse histoire! Merci beaucoup!
