Each SW movie had a climate theme so I my home would become those worlds - the sewing machine was a Death Star city with landing area, all cold machine-like, the kitchen table the Cloud City with one end serving as the M-Falcon landing area and a window with an afternoon sunset view.
The my parents bedroom queen size bed was Hoth, I would take the white sheets and pillows and make them look snowy. Stereo, end tables, were more Star Wars like scenes and so on. The yard was Endor & Tatooine!
The only piece that remains of my Millennium Falcon is the radar dish. Me and my brother found it in some old bag of Lego pieces a few days ago. We threw it away, lovingly. ^^
When I was about 6 I was always play with my Dad's Star Wars toys.He had the Death Star I would constanly Crush luke in that compacter Ah unfortunatly all his figures and Sets are Storage. He doesn't like today's Star Wars Toys
yeah, the original name was Return of the Jedi, then Lucas changed it to Revenge and then at the last moment he changed it back to Return because a Jedi would never get revenge...
@sonikdude49 i was living overseas during the buildup, and all these radio commercials kept talking about revenge of the jedi, then we got back here, the movie finally came out, and it was return. i don't know.
semi-related story, school took a field trip to see ET and afterward one of our assignments was to write a sequel(?), and some kid titled his story "revenge of e.t." - for some reason, did not involve the mothership coming down and blowing the shit out those fbi guys.
´Revenge of the Jedi´ was the original title of the 6th episode of the STAR WARS Saga. George Lucas decided in the last moment to change the tiltle in ´Return of the Jedi´ because he thought, a Jedi wouldn´t take revenge. But at this time, TV Spots and Posters already were produced with the old title which he kind of reused in Episode III ´Revenge of the Sith´
@carsonsmith I grew up watching the original movies in the theaters and had a LOT of these toys, still do but I'd like to replace some of them I "played out". Do you know some sites I might be able to look at other than E Bay?
you're welcome and like I said, I done an interview, Dark Side Chats #9, this shows about 50% at that time of my collection....I have more since then. also, the latest show also shows a pic I done and also my 1977 Star Wars iron on book...very cool!!
great ! i collect all the star wars stuff i see in shops and markets - from the whole star wars saga, i collect all the lego star wars most and make stop-motion with it on my original channel AntekSW, anyway thanks for the reply :)
cool, I just made a comment on one of you vids. I also gave you a name of a Star Wars Show, Dark Side Chats, if you haven't seen it before you'll really enjoy it.
yes, this was going to be the name of the last movie until George Lucas decided that a Jedi wouldn't get revenge. There were cardback made with Revenge of the Jedi. I have a 1983 Star Wars news print that says Revenge of the Jedi. This stuff is worth a lot!!
I love that heroic music the Boba Fett action figure gets. It's hilarious.

It's a shame that Kenner isn't still making figures(why did they have to sell out to Hasbro).
Cool commercials!
