i never missed tony williams sunday show and still have a few hundred c90 cassettes of his reggae shows ane gregg edwards soul ones loved this tune and its memories loads
rate this tune so much.............can just envision, driving tru da country-side in JAMAICA & full-joying da scenery to da fullest..................real living no pollution.
I love how all of these old school reggae clips on youtube have the whole record thing goin. Genuine reggae right there. One love from San Francisco, California
Mikig, i have to totally agree with you, and as good as so many dances were back then, often ruined by the inclusion of 'a' class substances, which seem to affect my peoples perception of reality, so sad, that many of those guys I grew up with are either hopless addicts, dead or dying in the most painful way possible.......slowly. But saying that many others have made successes of their lives, and all in all they really were good days........PEACE
Dis used 2b every1s favorite, u could play it at soul party. Wel they did at da 1s dem let me in, cos i was a bit rah 4 soul parties. Probably only went 2 bout 3 da dem in me lif hee hee hee
How i hated those soul parties!! i used to spend the whole night in the kitchen keeping the drinks company...lol it's one of the main reasons why i stopped raving. used to hate having to wait for the mens room while two coke heads were getting busy wid da powder.
iremember when Frank Bruno played as his number one of his top ten.. I was still a learner . i bought album in Davis record arcade down upton lane.. got home and sat down with a blunt and a t. conscious tunes man... this tune made me a rub a dub soldier
You can close your eyes, and imagine that your by the beach in say Jamaica, and this music is playing nicely in the background, you have a red stripe or heineken, and a spliff (optional lol!), with pure natural vibes surrounding you.
@1jaq ..................everything else xcluding da stripe & heineken........gimmie da bottle of "blax-hile" (guinness) put me on dat 7 mile stretch in NEGRIL & Da General is good.
@daroyalgeneral Yes I! Negril a weh the ting set... I also love the vibe down the west end of Negril too..You meet the real people of jam there...Mind you a bottle of dragon nuh too bad either! Big ups king!! :)
