i had to build a catapult that flinged a tennis ball 100 feet to hit a target for a grade 8 tech class. it couldn't be a trebuchet either

i built a trebuchet for my physics coursework, best shot 42m (approx 130ft)

but i like your design more

I actually attempted to build a Trebuchet, but damn, I'm a former Informatic Science teacher, not an engeneer. :-) Goood work guys. Keep going.

We just used some off the shelf bungee cord. Surgical tubing is really good as well.
