All in all...pretty good!! Next time be sure to show the hat empty FIRST, and use some more comedic patter with the volunteer. Like mabye say you forgot the magic words and then remember you wrote them down on a card somewhere....look around, and recognize the card keeping the volunteer dry and remove it, then act like you just made a big mistake!
@dangard88 Great suggestions! The card idea is excellent, I'm sure Deanna will throw that in next time. This was one of 4 performances of this routine before a 200+ audience, so some shows the Hat was shown empty a bit longer.
@DOGZROCK400 Cool. Thanks for the info. With the talent and skill she displayed in this video, I KNOW that she will get a membership in the Juniors division at the Magic Castle. She should make her own YouTube channel and post magic videos to promote and showcase herself. I could help her by featuring her channel in my Other Channels section.

How old was Deanna when she did this show? How long has she been performing magic? Does she plan on making a name for herself in magic?

she has been performing magic since she was 8
and yes she does plan on making a name for herself in magic,next year she'll be trying out for a jr membership at the magic castle
