  • I like it, a cooler is a great simple idea, can do a lot with it.

    A few things to consider, maybe just tweak the order of your exercises just a bit:

    1.) Do the plyo first. Plyo, power, etc. trump everything.

    2.) Do legs (not calves), then chest, then back, then shoulders, then arms, then core, in that order. Multi-jointed over single-jointed, large over small muscles, proximal over distal muscles.

    Otherwise, very creative and well done.

  • I never ever thought of using a cooler as a plyometric box!!! Great find! Most plyometric box sets are about 200 bucks; a couple of coolers at a second hand store must cost about 5 bucks!

I personally would have incorporated 3 different push ups (diamond/regular/wide) instead of the weird ass sideways thing you did. Maybe you can get four wheels for the cooler and do the sideways walk thing up and down the driveway...lol.

  • @WiFibre That exercise works the obliques and stabilizer muscles more than regular pushups. Try it. This whole workout is great because it emphasizes working often-neglected stabilizer muscles in the hips, etc...

I do burpees, squats, sprints, weight vest runs, spider crawls - all in front of at least 50 apartment windows with occasional comments or jeers. I ran the tough mudder - 12 mile obstacle course after loosing 60 lbs. The people who make fun need to try a bit of working out themselves

    Your Biceps don't really need to be isolated in order to be built. Push-ups will work your biceps.

    However, the back muscles are missed on this exercise. But this is only a small routine, I'm sure there are other exercises that you can do in your home that will do your back. (Chin-ups in the garage?)

  • Hey, bro... it's a cool stuff, really not bad and you are definetely in a good shape. What you just showed us covers chest, triceps, front deltas, abs and legs... Tell 'em that one also needs to make a lot of pull ups to train biceps and back. Pull ups are really good alternative to the gym

But this kind of workout is good enough if you can do it regularly at home..,but the real fact is v are not going to do it regularly if v are at home But if you try to go to gym,whenever you go to gym you will find other guys working out there..That will give you inspiration to continue going and working out regularly.

    You know your water brakes can make you sick. If you drink planty of water while on the small brake between trainings it's bad. That is proven fact that water makes it only worse when you pushing your body to the limit. Ye you need to drink but as less as you can, that's why u see athlets spilling out water which they drink while training. After training and small rest you can drink as much as u want and that will be the right way.

  • @taksistalo you're right! I found that if stay hydrated all day, i have no need for a water break until like 20 minutes after my workout. I definitely didn't learn that until after I made this video.

  • well I would say great job at showing what you can do outside of the gym however my suggestion is drink plenty of water don't just drink as little as possible water breaks are just as important as the workout so you don't get light headed or pass out or get heat strokes or dehydration still great job some of those are alot harder to perform than most people will realize!

  • @Zaless555 That is true! water breaks are vital in any exercise. What I do is I stay hydrated all day so that water breaks will be less of an interruption... I hate interruptions when I'm in....THE ZONE. Thanks for sharing knowledge and helping everyone else out, one person isn't enough!
