  • I used to DOMINATE this game. Automatic? Really?? LOL! Rookie.

  • I spent a fortune on this as a kid. Don't remember the graphics being this crap?

  • This game is from 89? I used to play it in 2005/6 when I was 15 listening to 50 cent's album "The Massacre" I didn't play this version, I played the other one, the Monaco that had no background. Now I have an xbox, but I want to un-dust my old Sega and play this game again.

  • Funny stuff, that track is a mix of Suzuka circuit parts. XD

  • Dies anyone have the original version of this game? The "FLICKY" posters used to say "Hoster's" and instead of a Sega building at 0:46, it was a Marlboro building.

  • Now that's an arcade style racing game right there! Last time I've seen a game that actually eliminates racers after every checkpoint was Burnout Revenge and Split/Second.

  • I SAW THIS AT AN ARCADE WHEN I WAS 4 AND I NEVER GOT TO PLAY IT, AND I WAS ONLY IN THAT TOWN FOR A DAY.

    GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

  • @BPhoenixProductions don't worry too much about it. The game sucked anyway...

  • @cristianodamatta

uh, no it didn't. i still play it on genesis and it's freakin awesome

  • @BPhoenixProductions If you are impressed by that, you should try a more recent F1 game.

  • @cristianodamatta oh, i have, but that doesn't mean that this (as well as domark f1) isn't an amazing game.

  • Popup ahoy! Is this really the arcade version?

  • @guv859 It is, but it's running on a PC with the MAME emulator, hence the jerkiness and messed up radio voices.

  • Scaling effect on raster graphics rocks !

  • I played this A LOT in 1989. Graphics seem very good for that period-they certainly did at the time!

This was one of the first arcade racing games where the "background" scenery moved with the track.

I remember that the sound and using a steering wheel and pedals etc made this a very intense arcade experience...

  • omg when I was a kid and saw the moving background I was so amazed i thought I was dreaming haha
