When the Spirit of God is moving in a song and the annointing is upon a singer or band you don't get responses like this. Listen to the words being used to describe the band. "wicked" being compared to godsmack? The bands hearts may be in the right place but the music is not annointed by God but the god of this world. II Cor 14 - 17 emphasis on 17 "Wherefore come out from among them and be ye seperate" I could never tell this was a band singing the praises of GOD! All music shld lift up GOD!
@1058thhc I absolutely love this band cause it got me through some tough times in my life but they're a christian band, and that should mean that they're passionate enough about God's love. To make is to take something that has been created and form it into something else.

@1058thhc In my opinion the song does not hold the actual Spirit of God in it, it is how the people listening are viewing the song. People comparing it to Godsmack are here purely for rock. @erikrowell1 man look up eternity or shot heard round the world by disciple, they are tied with red for the best christian rock band. imo that is. disciple integrates such meaning full lyrics into their songs, seriously check them out more.
I remember going to see them when i was 14-16 years old! i miss this band's old style the new stuff is okay. These guys blew my mind though the first time i heard them!

Christianity is just as manmade as Catholicism, Lutheranism, etc. Christianity is just an umbrella term for all of these. Also, did you just say the Bible is the most historically accurate book on the face of the earth?? I assume you mean the most historically inaccurate.

Provide me with this 'proof'...and that's because just about the only historical records over that vast period of time were from the bible...not to mention Catholicism is a branch of christianity...

@madwolf432 Of course religion is man made, it is (as everything we conceive) a structure made of teachings and a unity of Ideals, Anyway regardless...I never said anything about whether or not it was man made...my main point being that the bible (as all other religious texts) is a horribly inaccurate source of historical information and that there is no scientific proof otherwise.

Many people lost their lives trying to prevent it from happening and many of those who died for the survival of the Bible were those who stood against the Catholic Church and other religions. Millions of Christians have lost their lived at the hands of manmade religions so please do not desecrate those lives by lumping Christianity in with manmade religions.

@1058thhc In my opinion the song does not hold the actual Spirit of God in it, it is how the people listening are viewing the song. People comparing it to Godsmack are here purely for rock. I know some songs that have been truly powerful in my own life had bad comments (cursing ect.) but I viewed the song differently. Just my thoughts

@ChainedCastle They never said that. They said that their band and their music didn't all speak about God, but it reflected him in their music. They also said that while "their band wasn't Christian", they were all still Christians in a band.
