hey buddy where can i get this type of bag? im not really handy so i cant make a good one myself, anywhere that sells ones just like this, heavy, and for cheap? thanks a lot
Anyone ever try to clean and press 3 manure/soil bags (150 lbs. total) stacked? I tried once last year and failed. I don't lift weights weights, though. I found it impossible to lock out.
You are strong as hell! Before I've seen that I was proud to myself, because I can C&P with a circa 150-160 bag in 12-15 reps without rest and Zercher squats with an 200 lbs bag (my bodyweight is around 195 lbs). But after that I guess I have to train more.. :)
hey man love the vid, but i wanted to know what kind of bag you used for this? cuz i have a commercially bought sandbag and it only holds 120 haha its getting too light for me
That bag is made with 2 x 25" x 42" toploader military duffles (1 with the sand and that one shoved into a second one). I'd suggest using the 30" x 50" bags for anything over 200lbs for durability.
Its harder to clean and press a sandbag than it is to do the same to an olympic bar. Sandbags are dead weight that shift around while you are lifting and you have no real grip.
Great lift. The stumbling as you attempt to catch it at the top are the true hallmarks of a sandbag workout!

Lifting a sandbag is the closest thing to lifting a human because it fights back, a totally different challenge to a mere barbell
