A perennial favorite for all us "old farts",but keep an eye on them 'youngers',you`ll catch `em rocking out to it as well. :) Part of what makes this holiday classic so great,is that it`s a great rock `n roll tune...very simple.Only the lyrics make it a Christmas/Holiday song. Embarressed to say "Who is Bobby Helms?" though...always thought that Burl Ives sang this. *blush* Thanks for posting and Merry Christmas!

"Jingle Bell Rock" was written by Joe Beal (19001967), a Massachusetts-born public relations man, and Jim Boothe (19171976), a Texas writer in the advertising business got that from wikipedia bud ;~)
