i done a trial lesson here in a cessna 172 G-BKCE
hoping to do another trial lesson "Family affair fly away" then if i like that more "Serious trial flight" i will book my proper Lessons, good luck all!
Enjoy it, If you have a strong stomach why not ask for some Aerobatics? Just make sure that the Aircraft/Instructor you book is capable to avoid disappointment. :-)
No, he will have to do the PPL (Private Pilot License) which is £6500, and the lessons will be in a Cessna 152 (As shown in this video) but your brother will have 5 years left to Acquire the License, he may start lessons now but he will not get the license until he is 17 and i dont think they will allow him to fly solo at 12 i thinks thats also 17
Whilst you can begin to fly as soon as your legs are long enough to reach the rudder controls and see over the cowling at the same time you cannot log your flying hours until you reach the age of 14 years. Solo flight is possible from the age of 16 years and the minimum age for the issue of a Private Pilot's Licence (PPL) is 17 years. Cessna 152's are a very popular training aircraft but it is not mandatory that you train in one. Pretty much any SEP Aircraft can be used. Even the Cessna 172....
I just did my First Solo today in G-BKGW! :D It truely was an amazing experience and one that i will never forget! And it was my 16th Birthday yesterday so i guess thats not bad going. :)

Jacq, Congratulations, i'm so pleased for you. Jo told me all about it tonight. The smile will last for weeks and you will always remember that great day :-)
Isn't it just the most fantastic feeling, looking at the right seat and seeing no one is there for the very first time. At last a glimpse of the freedom of flight! And a nice landing. Well done. It looks pretty busy at Leicester as well.
There are a variety of ways that you can pay for your flying, these are flexible to suit you. Please call the Aero Club (Tel: +44 (0) 116 2592360 )directly to discuss what options are open to you.
everyone knows it...i bet you was singing to youself when you got airbourne..."woop am flyin am flyin am flyin haha" joking i want to do the introductory flight...do you have to pay £122 every day you go
or can it be paid after few months or something please wb

you can either pay everytime you go, or you can pay for a month then do the month. It can never be after.
