  • how did you get it to work on a windows mobile phone?

  • @javet First, not that it's relevant, but you may notice it's not a phone :)

Second, it's not real Tibia, it's YATC.

Third, it's no longer worked on.

  • @ivucica oh thank you sorry for not reading more into it!

  • it looks like not fit the whole screen. it seen half of it. :D even the 'connecting' words only seen 'necting' LOL

  • This is awesome, keep it up!

Let me remind the assholes that this is not illegal; you're not using their copyrighted server software in any way, you're just using their client to connect to another server. And yatc takes it one step further that you don't even need their client - 100% free. Maybe someday there'll be an open tibia client better then the original.... you could customize your sprites, create whole new content.

Anyways, thx devs, wish I had code skills for this kind of thing ;p

  • Better to be big and fat then being small and thiny.

  • cool ^_^.

  • It is, isn't it? :)

  • Well, i'm not an expert programmer, but i've had my moments trying to create games for mobile devices.

First of all: IMPRESIVE! great job! keep it doing it! that would be da bomb in tibia.

2nd: Bcz the pocket pc can't handle many graphics on screen, why don't trying first to reduce the sprites quality in the client?, anyway, is a small screen, only to play sometimes, so, there's no need for great graphics or renders, just the simple client to check your character and stuffs like that i think

  • Hi!

Thanks for the kind words, they're appreciated. This was just an experimental direct port of desktop version of YATC. I thought about reducing sprite size from 32x32 to 16x16 automagically, but never came around it. Also this was too slow for other reasons, too, and in the meantime I lost PocketPC so this will probably not be continued.

It was a cool experiment with PPC's SDL, and with Linux PPC compiling tools, though -- and it brought first desktop Tibia on mobile devices :)

  • Good and hard work!

    It's a great advance!

    Please continue developing YATC!

    A greeting!

  • How to download that?? O.o

  • You can only compile from sources, and it doesn't work very well...

  • ur a genious dude

  • That was great. XD

I don't have a pocket PC but I thought it was pretty cool. I liked the background music too. \,,/

  • Did you release this stuff?

  • Yes, I did. But it's not very playable.

  • wtf,where are you from?

    your english fucken worried

  • Thanks for listening primarily to my accent and not to what I was talking about.

  • where the hell is the character????hehe

  • I tried to reduce number of rendered stuff to (unsuccessfully) improve FPS

  • hehe, it's funny (We definitely must learn how to reset on windows :P)...

It reminds me when I played Pokemon on my Gameboy 10 years ago, good times =)
