  • i just got a mohawk bcuz i have always been a punk rock fan. but bcuz i got a mohawk some of my friends un friend me and started to call me gay and freak. what shud i do? shud i get rid of the mohawk or just keep it and ignore them? oh and im 14 btw

  • be yourself. If people really are your friend, it shouldn't matter what you look like.

You're at the age where you're discovering who you are, sacreficing your developing personality so that others will like you better will harm you in the future, so it's better to be true to yourself.

Address this issue with your friends now, they'e probabl;y just struggling with such a drastic change in apperance and are pulling your leg a bit, you'll be okay.

Its your hair, so its your choice!

  • thx that helped alot :]]

  • momo. ive got a question and i cant answer it so i figured i'd ask you. im still a kid i guess im 17 and there are people that i care about. but they dont crae the same way about me. the reason for this is because im... different... i guess. i do go my own style and i act myself. and noone likes the way i am. ao i guess what im asking is should i change who i am so that i will be liked by others. i see everyone else changing who they are to fit in but i cant seem to change myself. any ideas...

  • Please read the lyrics of the song heart of steel, from manowar. It will give you all the ideals you need to face the world. It did for me, and now 10 years after, (I'm 26 now), I still listen to it and feel energy and resolve!!

  • Today was a bad day, something bad happened at work, and coming back home I was devastated, and what do I find?

    YOUR VIDEOS

thanks, you have reminded me who I am and what I want to be, this job I have is nothing to me, I'm a musician, and I want to become a pro bass player, so I keep saving money, but I know that I will quit my job, and now I know I'll do it sooner, because, thinking staying until 2012, that was just an excuse, I can do it sooner.

    thanks for everything MOMO

  • soo the secret is like in the book ''the secret'', having dreames, belevies in our dreames, if you want it ull have it!

thx momo i already knew it but u make me understand it better ^^

  • i was hella depressed bcuz my girlfriend got raped and then i said wat the fuck am i depressed about shes dead move on and now im all better

  • Thanks

  • First I stopping drinking for 3 months. I then realised University was the main cause of my anxiety, so I left. It took me a year and alot of hard work but now I have a steady job I have good friends, I barely drink and most importantly Im happy. I think the most important thing to do if you are unhappy is to change your life. Do something new. Go somewhere, change your job, the people you hang around with whatever it is that is hurting you and you will find change and freedom.

  • Hey Momo The letter you recieved sounds exactly like me a year ago. I was at university and I was depressed. For the first time in my life I wanted to hurt myself. On the better days I would hate myself for even considering it. It was the hardest thing to just get out of bed and I had panic attacks weekly. I was drinking alot and I am a bad drunk.

  • Momo, and also everyone who posted comments,

    Thank you . Amazing.

Of all the ways that the internet can be used negatively, thanks for pushing and insisting on taking advantage of it for positivity to inspire and re-inspire, over and over!

    Blessings!

    Momo

  • momo, this video really opened my mind....i too am currently down in a rut, things aren't really going anywhere for me right now.

this vid explains a lot, and what struck a cord, was the part about seeing younger people doing there thing and i'm still in the same place. i see it everyday and feel quite down from it. anyway, your advice to get up and do something i would start to heed. it's the most truthful, down to earth advice i've heard in a long time.

    thanks

  • i just want to say momo that your videos are inspirational and are definitely something i will come back to time and time again when i need to re-evaluate my life situation.

i write raps and random stuff in my notepad and i've made a promise to myself from now on to write at least one verse everynight before i go to bed. i also have a script i'm working on which i'm even more determined to get finished during the summer or at least worked on progressively.

    much love and respect

  • I'm not sure if I caught this video before or not, but this is has given me a great insight into the person you are. This is awesome :-)

    Love & Light,

    Jen

  • the truth of the matter is nobody gives a damn what you accomplish because 98% of people here in the west are self absorbed lunatics.

  • Your hoodie looks really cool. And what your are saying is even cooler. Thanks man

  • Hey Momo, good video, my response video has some of the elements you discussed. I created the video because the story in the book was very moving to me and very powerful. It is not the answer to everyone that is down, but it opened a new point of view to me.

  • great motivating video.

  • This is a most excellent video.

  • Its weird bro. I start crying listening to you. Not because I'm sad. But because you are so real and come so much from the heart. You're helping me man. What you're saying is speaking to my heart. Blowing me away! Thanks loads!

  • Bryan Adams haha.

  • I've only heard of this man for the first time last week and I can tell you, this guy knows his shit and is really cool.

  • Really inspiring man.

  • wow this is deep..just randomly went on this

  • I feel the same way as you brotha, look forward to how good you will feel when it is done, and use that as motivation, giving makes you feel good. You can never go into something grudging it, you have to be open minded.

  • omg!!!! that guy has my fucking personalty my god creepy ! O_o ... but im young and emo but the fun emo

  • It's not have many times you get knocked down, that count, but how many times you get back up....

  • Incarnation is a contract with God that We can not break... Hang in there, there are changes ahead, so unbelievable, that We all want to be here to see. REMEMBER: We waited in line just to be here, in this moment. These are times that will never happen again. Hang in there. You'll be glad you did.....

  • LOL, having my daughter I just think I just can't jump off that balcony now, I have to raise her, she will not forgive me... I know if I didn't have a child I would be planning how to kill myself like this lady lol...

  • That was one of your best vids yet momo, i think you not wanting to do this video made you emphasize the point a lot stronger. Thanks for the positivity, and I hope you feel the good energy coming your way

  • This could save some people the pain of going to a phsyc who doenst have a tenth of sincerity as this guy. keep it up!

  • I randomly checked out your page because Spricket24 recommended it, and I randomly chose this video even though it was almost 20 minutes long. But I must say, truly inspiring words of advice. I've been in a rut for awhile (maybe all 21 years i've been alive), and this was the talk I needed to hear. So thank you, I am going to do things tomorrow even though I don't want to.

  • you are so amazing, I like always get what you're saying.

Really appreciate your videos so much dude, Thanks so much for making them!

  • This guy is very helpful for depression and anxiety. Its actually true! If you decide to do something by yourself you have a sense of decision and even confidence in yourself and you will feel better. Plane your life instead of wasting it!

  • .............................

  • You're doign one of the most important things there is to do in the world, Momo. Thank you so much for caring.

  • Wery nice wery inspiring I agry on everithing you say because thats the way I live allways doing something iven if you feel like shit :) But there is one thing I cant agre with you...in the video you sey that you are shure for 100% about somthing(it does not mater what) what im tring to say I dont belive in 100% It could be 99.99% but not 100% and I dont like when people say that its just personal opinion anyway very nice video, actualy its the first video that I seen of you, im subscribing!!!!!

  • I didnt get to see this vid earlier Momo. I love it. I totally agree...I started by doing things even BY just watching tv. I started to analyze the little elements that I loved about the shows I watched...and that got me going.

  • you're amazing

    this helped me too

  • Momo, I love you man! Best video yet! You're truly an inspiration, and you generosity illuminating. You can't keep it unless you give it away, and you're doing a very good job at that. You will have many more good things coming to you my man. Keep up the good work. Peace.

  • suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.

  • Two points: 1ST he needs something to take his mind off those thoughts when they appear. If he can distract himself when he feels like that, & think about something else. (Watch comedy, work at goal) Anything to take his mind off bad thoughts, by the time the interrupt ativity is over, he'll have forgotten about killing himself. May be a nutrient deficency. Cut back on caffene & alcohol, increase vitamins, drink more water. If he does this while also following your advice, I bet he'll be fine.

  • Very cool video!

The effects are awesome;D Kidding,of course.

Respect for showing your face in that state!

At very young age I used to sabotage some electric toys just so that I had the permission

to finally open them and see how they work...I think I'm still like that:Amazing...let me see how does it work:)

  • Momo: Another good one...The possibilities are endless... bob

  • out of curiousity momo.....were your parents optimists?Just want to see if it's the upbringing that you had tat gave you the drive. Thanks for the vid (((hugs)))

  • Brilliant! That's it Momo! Nothing else to add, you got it all in this video!

  • One moment of breaking a silence with love, offers others the opportunity to embrace it . . .

    BL*M

  • Nice suggestion Bruce.

  • thanx*Dozman, its like going deep, and out of bounds, without pissing over the edge, at least not until others know ones intentions so they can at least get clear of the path ;)-

  • I kinda sorta agree, however i feel the need to do things for ones self is over stated and the huge values of doing things for others was missed!

The worlds full of self absorbed slackers...The happy pill is found in helping and giving to others!

  • Thanks Momo, this was very helpful...I was clenching my butt the whole way through the video...and now I'm off to wash those dishes!

    peace xx

    Vicky

  • When it comes to thoughts of killing yourself, it is best to remove them as an option. Don't give your self an out, because some time you just may take it. I forces myself to deal with my problem. No matter how bad they are if you face them, you can solve some of them and you will feel better.

  • Great advice dude! VERY realistic and sound advice.

  • Thanks for the inspiration. =)

  • Momo, you are so clever! Very wise and insightful. There's a book that you (and your fans) should read called "Evolve Your Brain: The science of changing your mind" by Dr. Joe Dispenza. This book explains (scientifically) how the brain works chemically and how people repeat the same behaviours and get stuck in routine - same crap relationships, same shitty jobs etc...Humans have so much potential...this book explains how to use it!!!

  • thanks pet...behaviourist?hah, ok...I'll write that down in my "want to read! list!

  • When you fail at your goals and there is no chance to continue persueing that goal, it takes sometime to figure out what your next goal should be.

What do you do now? "Do the next thing" But what is the "next thing"? Concentrate on figuring out what the next thing is, not on the suicidal thoughts.

There is a temptation of giving up, you can choose to follow that temptation but it is self-destructive. Figure out something else you CAN do.

  • great video as always!!

    great hoodie!!!

  • beautiful. simple well put. you are one of the great youtube advisors. please do not even stop creating these uplifting vids! stay classy

  • Awesome speech, thanks dude you rock!

  • ! Great vid, Momo, Really Inspiring, Thank you. I like your points about using time efficiently and doing things that matter. I know for me this is a big stumbling block, expending a lot of energy and not reaching anybody or accomplishing anything.

  • nothing ever came from a life that was a simple one.

    feel better soon momo!

  • I agree with what you say on self-reliance! Wow, it is SO TRUE! I know exactly what you mean. I had this experience last winter that makes me know exactly what you are talking about!

    I LOVE your videos!

    Erin.

  • those things you said at the last seconds of this video, f**king amazing!

  • Hi momo.. hope your feeling better :) I am squeezing my bum cheeks as I sit at my computer and write you this comment!! lol.. Thanks for this video. have a good day.. get some rest!

  • This is a timely message. The Secret, Abraham-Hicks and others are also bringing this to light. We create our own reality. Do what feels good rather than feels bad. Let your intuition and emotions guide you. You inherently know what to do - just DO it. Less talk, more walk. Thanks Momo for reminding us of this! Another great video!

  • Love your videos brother! You are such a caring person and that is so attractive to all of us. Great advice! One Love

  • AMEN! EXACTLY!!! interrupt the negative patterns! throw a big ol' monkey wrench in your counter-productive mechanical wheels... courage/energy comes AFTER doing the scary thing and "living" through it! so WAITING for it is just silly! CREATE it by DOING! ACTIVATE! SHOW ME HOW YOU MANIFEST! :-D hooray, yay, and hugs for momo!!! (and everyone!)

  • I've always found that aswell, when you need to do something but can't be bothered or just too i'll, I make myself do it anyway and I feel alot better about myself after doing it.

Although I must admit... sometimes I am really lazy, that's something I need to work on...

  • Great video Momo, Just Do It! also i say to myself, and quite often do, how will this afect me or make me feel in a couple of weeks if i keep at it?, or in 6 months etc, i try to visulise the future of a route i might take, u know.

  • dope!

  • good to see you back on the track momo , after all the crap that was thrown at you!keep on doing these video's , you give the world hope!

  • NIce.

  • another great video, thank you very much, I appreciate your sacrifice for others, sweet.

    kind regards,

    Dr Tommy Gouranga,

  • this was a bad ass video bro. keep doing what you do cuz your great at it man.

  • Wonderful video!

  • thanks for takeing time to make this video, even when it was'nt what you feel like doing,it is this that makes things happen, this has helped me, and i have a friend i know it will help who is in a hole,im sending it to her, thanks so much momo((smiles))

  • Thank you Momo, your timing on this video is awesome. I had a really bad day yesterday.

I agree about the self-reliance. The whole reason why the day got bad is because I had to rely on 100 people for their votes, and I only knew 5 or 6 of them. Relying on total strangers sucks.

    Self-reliance is a great tool.

  • Really cool video.

Im like a lot of people who go to work, pay mortgage etc, getting complacent and think "I'll do that tommorow",and stop following our dreams and before we know it were dead.

Momo, you are right ,you are living in the "here and now" ,getting things done.

Its so easy to get complacent. But you have to realise that time is precious and you must use you time effectively.

  • the hardest part of running a mile is standing up and putting your shoes on.

  • always inspiering and willful... MOMO = wisdom and good ol free spirt....

  • YES MOMO. 5 stars, especially for pushing the fatigue. YES MAN. Leon J coming soon.....

  • YES MOMO. 5 stars, especially for pushing the fatigue. YES MAN. Leon J coming soon.....

  • I'd like to recommend the "Campbell Interest and Skill Survey" (by David Campbell, PhD) to anyone/everyone who is looking for what career path to take. The basic purpose of the survey is to help you find a career in which you will be happy and productive. I discovered the CISS via my Community College's Career & Transfer Center, and I was impressed w/ the results I received. Perhaps it is available online? It's definitely worth checking out, for those who are seeking direction & purpose... :)

  • I agree the magic is taking Action. You have to find a daily goal,a monthly goal a yearly goal. Wonderful vid and funny to, You have to suck in your butt and tummy and build yourself a set of abs.

  • solid words momo

  • And I know you've heard this thousands of times, but you are INFECTIOUSLY positive, and your advice is ... I can't even find the right word for it. More people need to see your videos, this information and these ideas are incredibly valuable and helpful.

Thank you for doing this, especially this video when you didn't feel like it. Sometimes I put off things when I don't feel well, and I need to be more aggressive and consistent with accomplishing the things I want to do.

  • Spot on Momo. I urge everybody who watches this video to take what he says to heart.

And if you understand everything, and still can't seem to just go through with certain things you want to get done, then practice self discipline. It will become easier and easier to do things you don't really want to do, and you'll find you're able to do things you couldn't before. It's like a muscle, in a way. Work it and become stronger.

  • I love the self-reliance, and 'simulation' as a way to make progress when you don't have a way to do it yet (w/others)

It's hard to do this because we've all been socially conditioned that people who do things like this are 'crazy'. (eg talking to yourself)

Don't care what anybody else thinks of you, the only person who cares about you is yourself (maybe your parents or a few close friends) but in the end the only one you can count on is yourself.

  • COME ON PEOPLE! WHAT´S GOING ON!?! ARE YOU HAVING SUICIDAL TENDENCIES!?!? JUST DRINK THE UNHOLY WATER!! YOU´RE GONNA KILL YOUR SELF FOR LIKE ..5 SECS, AND THEN RIBIRTH FULL OF ENERGY!

as Momo said, FIND THE RIGHT TEAM!

  • cool stuff dude
