I make these boxes myself with 1/4"maceinite? and 1x4's. then I prime the box before I paint it.

I use a respirator made by 3M. you should be able to find it or something like it at the local paint store. Just tell someone there your going to be spray painting with harmful vapors in the air and they should hook you up

You can use those but they don't last as long. I use this heavy duty plastic that I get from my local sign store. It's like 1/8" thick and you can buy 4x8ft sheets of it for like 60 bucks. This stuff will hold up for hundreds of sprays.

Just open your image in paint- then go to settings and increase the size of the image and the number of pages - then go to print preview to see how it looks- and then its just trial and error! Good luck!

but for now I've just been doing like 1 layer haha or doing in w/ 2 diff colors to make it look cooler

For this particular image it works best to do the background behind jimi a lighter color so you get a nice contrast between Jimi who is mostly dark in color and the backgroud. But I will definately try a light purple to dark purple away from Jimi. That would definately work. I could even throw some white hazes in that shit. There's so many options and once you have the stencil made it only takes a few minutes to do a painting. I love it.
