  • Lol he isn't a drummer he kneels on top if his industrial drums while headbanging lol

  • i completely love Gibraltar for these racks, i love customizing my drumset a lot and these racks help me do that much better. Brent Check out my channel when you get a chance i uploaded a video today about what i did with my new Gibraltar rack. thanks!!

  • @quintmasta14 Hey thanks for letting us know about your rig! It looks cool! Have you thought about using the 24” curved bar on your left side to mount one of your cymbals, instead of using it as a floor support on your right side?” Is it cool if we post your video on our facebook page?

  • @GibraltarDIY Thanks! and actually in my recent set up i used the 24" to support my makeshift mini-china, and yea im totally cool with the vid being posted!

  • "The rack will have elements from the GRS-1234-ADCD-5000 and the GRS-5678-EFGHI-7890". I have no clue what those look like from those long product numbers you just mentioned, but sounds awesome!

  • @ThomasMetal75 haha there is method to the madness as each clamp model number is actually an acronym for the name and function of the device.. There is a post with details on our gibraltar DIY blog

  • "I believe Shawn only uses about 6 or seven cymbals." hahahaha

  • How much would a rack similar to this cost around?

  • @theunidentified1000 2 dollars

  • isn't joey jordison the drummer of slipknot?

  • @drumXskate slipknot has too other drummers who do more percussive work.. shawn crahan also has a side project ( dirty little rabits ) in which he is the drummer

  • @SgtCrazy128 okay thnx

  • I feel like if you got a pearl rack like joey jordison you wouldn't have to problem of leveling, just set it up and go!

  • can u buy shawn crahan's and chris fehn's equipment and setups in stores or online???

  • hi folks- Hopefully someone knows the answer to this. Could one use a Pearl square main piece with Gibraltar legs supporting it? Are the clamps on the end of the Pearl icon rack built to hold 1.5" leg tubes or some other diameter? Thanks!

  • @drumrnva From what I have heard, Pearl uses 1.5” diameter vertical legs, but you should contact pearl or measure the diameter of the tubes yourself in a store.

  • Such beautiful looking hardware.

  • yeah, its gonna have parts of the HFIOASHCUISHCDF mount, and the KJHSIOHNCIOSDNC mount. wtf?

  • wow i would kill a viscous bear for that rack, the plain double bass curve rack is like 400 bucks plus those little extentiontions he put adds like 200 or something. Kickass rack nonetheless

  • he shouldn't have to worry so much about stuff being level if gibraltar's racks weren't made with round tubing. so annoying. i hate gibraltar racks.

would'nt they think that maybe a more stable shape, like a square would make more sense?

hence, pearl icon racks being 1000x superior.

  • @Buhzie15 square racks make no sense. a round bar gives you infinite ajustability. a square bar locks you into one position.

  • @xdoseonex yea but when using round racks toms or watever u have there will turn or slide downward when u hit it and when u set it up ur self its hard to lock it in...

  • @eyeless666maggot

I´m sorry, but this isn´t true! I´m using a round rack system and it works fantastic! I never had problems with dropping or moving toms! and for the worst case they´ve developed memory clamps to avoid moving! Compared to the Pearl racks you even have the oppotunity of one more angle for adjusting your attachments! (have you ever tried to spin a rack clamp around a pearl rectangular tube?) rock it!

  • @themetalfork completely forgot about this haha wow yeah i had an old round yamaha but not anymore

  • shawn crahan isnt the drummer. he's a percussionist

  • he is a drummer in dirty little rabbits dumbass

  • @mypulsereverberates thanks alot =D

  • i wanna get a rack for my double bassdrum set, and gibraltar seems to be the way to go. i just wonder...are the clamps only compatible with gibraltar cymbal and tom holders? thanks!

  • @GTAtomten

yo, i have a gibraltar rack and i use a ddrum kit and you can use whatever you like with the rack, i use mostly tama and yamaha hardware, you just gotta experiment with it.

  • @misdrummer Okay, Thanks =D i dont see any vids of your drum kit though...

  • @GTAtomten

yeah i wish i had a camera. i lost mine awhile back. it sucks. the only place you can see mine is myspace, oh yeah you can use the top half of your old stands as cymbal booms on the rack too. just about anything would work.

  • Are the clamps compatible with different Diameters of pipes? will it take both tom holders and cymbal tops? Thanks for all your help =D

  • @GTAtomten

no problem man, glad to help. It should hold almost any type of pipes. I use ddrum tom holders and im using the top half of a ddrum and a pearl cymbal arm and they fit perfectly. I even have a really thin crappy old cymbal arm on one too. Just try anything and if it doesnt work you can always take it back. no worries.
