If your actually religious, on a non-superficial level you wouldn't find such comments particularly complementary or non-complementary since they don't mean anything material..not that one should be concerned with ones self image to begin with!

It's cool dude. I was brought up being forced to go to church. It wasn't until I was 14 or 15 and I stopped going because I believed it was all fake. Then my curiosity led me back again.

It's a difficult thing to believe in what you cannot see, for we are in fact blind people. Rather than remaining sightless, why not be deaf? At least then you're mute to all that surrounds you but you'll still be able to see the truth. :)
