You look a little like John Kennedy Toole. Ignatius Rising was a great biography--I look forward to yours and hope it's even better. I suppose Toole fits the stereotype of the tortured gay writer but he's still interesting in his own right, and his mother was interesting as well. I still think Confederacy is one of the funniest books I have ever read. It's strange, isn't it, that someone who had such a humorous view of life would take his own life. Damn that Robert Gottlieb!
