as far as I know, this thing does not have an auto tunner, but you can do that thing with the pedal bend effect, I used to have a patch just to instantly tune my guitar to Drop C

i had a gt6 through a 1x12 marshall park. now have a gt8 through randall RH100 halfstack n cant get the thing to sound good. although making progress using the rectifier raw,vint and modern amp types.

Guitar to GT-8

GT-8 ext loop send to Amp input (not loop return)

GT-8 ext loop return to Amp loop send

GT-8 left mono out to Amp loop return

for an additional amp (stereo) use the GT-8 right output

Bypass the GT-8 preamp to use the Amps preamp.

Any good amp with an fx loop will do. Using it this way will keep the drive of your amp and give you all the fx of the GT-8. Amps are preference. I prefer the Fender Blues Deluxe. I also use a Peavey 5150 II

Finally the sound depends in great manner of your power amp used.

My videos are recorded without amp directly in the sound card of my pc.

In live contest I used the GT8 in the return of my Behringer GMX212 and sound really great.

Actually the Gt-8 is recommended to be used without Amp. It has it's own Amp simulations which are really good. You'll need for it only a Monitor ( Amp without effects only to amplifie the signal ) so you can hear yourself onstage. I guess then It will sound good with any amp.

well if its a bad amp then you wont be using its shitty distortion so effects will probs ring nicely with its clean but if your cones are fucked up it will distort the sound.
