I've been both the WoW player and the girlfriend of a WoW player. Don't blame the game for the breakdown of the relationship. It's the amount of time you play v.s. amount of time you spend with your partner. Yes, it's a time-consuming game, especially if you're in a raiding guild. The trick is remembering to NOT get so caught up in the game that you forget about your partner. I've met some of my closest friends through WoW and I miss going to NY to visit them.
