This is impressive P.R. Here in Portland, the transit agency (TriMet) is very anti-bus and won't dare promote the bus system. It's nice to see Los Angeles truly believing in a balanced transit system of both bus AND rail.

I read in an article a while back that he took Metro. I haven't run into him yet - but as I take Metro, I'm sure I will at some point!
