To me this song is about peace, harmony, and redemption. It doesn't bother me if it borrows images from communist propaganda. Communists had good ideas, too. Those good ideas just didn't prove to be workable, unfortunately. But then again, no ideology has been perfect. Never will be. We've learned a lesson and we move on. In the mean time, we have this beautiful song.
