SFII is a great game, but well, it had so many upgrades it's almost inevitable! The first game, the original Street Fighter was cool, had some potential, but never had any upgrade, so it was left crappy! Please Capcom, Make "Street Fighter - The Good Edition"!!
i love fighting games and decided to get into street fighter starting with the classic. I am very disapointed the move list are small and boring and they are hard to pull off i am going back to mv3.
@galamotshaku ditto, thats why i picked up the anniversary edition for £3 instead of £11.99 here in the uk. Are capcom for real? I fucking hate Capcom and yes i am i Mortal Kombat fan boy. Allthough i love the Street fighter , Res Evil games, but i just hate how Capcom exploits a loyal fan base bringing out rudely priced DLC. SF x Tekken sounds absurd with the gem system and UMVC3 is a no buy for me. First 2 MVC games class, MVC3 in my book not so good
@lilfrog5 3rd Strike Online Edition is NOT a lazy port. Do you have any idea the amount of frames of animation per character there are in that game? It's unrivaled by almost any 2D fighting game. A HD overlay of the original frames was difficult for this game, now imagine just how long it would take to do the same for 3rd strike.

Hmm, You obviously have no idea what you're talking about. The sprite artists and developers that worked on the III series are no longer at Capcom. And you think it would be that simple to just start again and make hundreds of frames per character in HD?
There is widescreen support, by the way. And you should look into the basics of 2D sprite and Game design before running your mouth.

@XPERTOWNER The problem may be the X-Box 360 /PlaySTATION 3 controller rather than your ability because the games you bought were designed to be played with an Arcade Controller, fortunately you can buy a controller called Arcade Stick for either console, there´s a company called Mad Catz that builds them. Another problem could be the fact that it takes a few time to get used to the sequences used in Mavel VS Capcom 2 (for example: it took me a month to learn how to do a quarter circle forward).

@Fazanahmed121 THIS: Super Street fighter II Turbo HD Remix is one of the best balanced fighting games of all time, it is so well balanced that you can win a world tournament with the second worst character of the game. Third Strike unfortunately is very unbalanced, practically there´s only two characters (Yun and Chun-li), and if you want to win a tournament you have to choose one of those characters.
@MadCowsGaming I strongly suggest you purchase Street Fighter Third Strike Online Edition, It just came out today and It has WAY more depth, It's just 5 bucks more but it's better than waiting 10 bucks on something so simplistic and outdated
@MadCowsGaming The game has many difficulty settings, It also has Trial and Tutorial modes to make you better at the game, like how to parry certain moves, It's really good because you can replay the trials in a click of a button, go check out IGN's review of it :D

They DID add new frames of animation! They made a big blog post and were all excited to finally announce they could add new frames *after all*, without altering gameplay even though they originally said they coudln't/wouldn't. Then they showed some unfinished pictures/sketches of them, for Cammy etc.
they need to remake Street Fighter 1 in HD, i mean it was the first game and theres only 3 versions of it and one mugen mod, the versions is:
Street Fighter for arcade
Street Fighter for PC engine
and
Fighting Street for turbo grapix 16 (the best official edition)
theres also this mod, its for M.U.G.E.N the mod is called : Street Fighter One, (this is the best by far since you can play as all characters and it has controls like SF2) thumb up to let pepole know the past of street fighter! :D

KoFXIII looks like a fucking 2000 game that could've been rendered on the PS2. Any distance less than 10 ft from the screen makes KoFXII AND XIII look pixelated as shit, whereas SF HD is goddamn fucking beautiful, and hell I was looking more forward to the KoF games, and yes, I would have loved for SF HD to get on the PSP, even if it may look a bit less pretty.

Personally, I felt SSFII:Turbo had better graphics and portraits. The eyes are all too fuckin far apart on HD remix's portraits. They should have taken the original style, and revised it, without the UDON crap. Like high-res versions of the original sprites.

look to sparse and too cold. The original backgrounds and graphics seemed far more

they need to remake Street Fighter 1 in HD, i mean it was the first game and theres only 3 versions of it and one mugen mod, the versions is:
Street Fighter for arcade
Street Fighter for PC engine
and
Fighting Street for turbo grapix 16 (the best official edition)
theres also this mod, its for M.U.G.E.N the mod is called : Street Fighter One, (this is the best by far since you can play as all characters and it has controls like SF2) thumb up to let pepole know the past of street fighter! :D

I just had to lol @ the comment in the video "don't expect this to look like King of Fighters XII" holy shit how more wrong can he be? KoFXIII looks like a fucking 2000 game that could've been rendered on the PS2. Any distance less than 10 ft from the screen makes KoFXII AND XIII look pixelated as shit, whereas SF HD is goddamn fucking beautiful, and hell I was looking more forward to the KoF games, and yes, I would have loved for SF HD to get on the PSP, even if it may look a bit less pretty.

yep, as many said, it looks like a flash game. If only they included the possibility to play with old sprites. I dont know, there is something wrong with the scrolling, Im really feel kinda sick when I watch it in motion.

@wartbag That is 100% false! Super Street Fighter 4 has more stages, characters, online modes, better graphics, more costumes, colors, extra ultra combos, better sounds, visuals, music, etc. I can go on! Well, it is just an opinion though.

Personally, I felt SSFII:Turbo had better graphics and portraits. The eyes are all too fuckin far apart on HD remix's portraits. They should have taken the original style, and revised it, without the UDON crap. Like high-res versions of the original sprites.
