Out of sincere curiousity, could you name anywhere that Anarchy has worked for a year or more? I used to be an Anarchist, but I agree with jttam3 about human nature. It seems like an impossibility because most people are naturally too selfish and willing to settle for security in this post-industrial "revolution" age.
not if youre gonna be purist about it. anarchy is an abstract ideal, complete equality, which would supposidly come naturally in a stateless society. i don't really buy that (it's possible, but unlikely), but a society that works toward anarchy, with it's primary goal being complete equality, the abolition of states and classes, racism, sexism etc would end up being really good, whether it meets your standards of anarchy or not.
