@Emperor00id She (not he) needed to gain enough speed for control authority. If she had pulled up immediately or tried for level flight right away it would have resulted in a stall and a tail-first crash within a few yards. The design needed a portion of the fall to generate the speed for lift.

@longgoodknight oh jeez, my fault. What I meant was that she should have pulled up just a TAD earlier because she almost didnt correct in time. Had she leveled off earlier, she would have gained more flight/glide time because of height. its height versus speed. She did a great job and I dont think I could do any better, I just think she could have pulled up a LITTLE bit earlier. Thats all.
