  • the intro was very arctic monkeys favourite worst nightmare album sounding :)

  • @SnappingTurtle90 maybe! thx

  • @sessorial is it possible to achieve a sound similar to the first 20 seconds on say a jazzmaster modern player or is it all down to the pups/amp?

  • what color is that? i really need to know...

  • @kevinmontano9 olympic white

  • @kevinmontano9 OLYMPIC WHITE I believe with a tort guard.

  • should i buy a Jazzmaster or jaguar?

  • @lucaslmgv what tone are u looking for?

  • @haroldlihk

I like the sound clean enough to play Johnny Marr's riffs (the smiths) but I want something versatile enought to play the raw riffs of Neil Young and black keys. I'm also a big fan of Pink Floyd(yeah, stratocaster, I know, but they're pretty darn ugly imo)

  • Is it worth the extra cost over the Classic Player series?

  • @28mistert yes

  • how does your whammy bar just stay up like that without touching it? mine always falls now to the lead input area

  • @invictorium Hi I have a 62 RI Jazzmaster I love it. On mine I poped the arm in the hole and pulled it back out just until it stays put. I like to be able to just reach down with my finger and hit the trem as I need it. Hope it works for you.

  • @invictorium theres an upgrade for that.

  • Apparently the HH Jaguar´s sound is thin as FUCK and not really worth it, I never played it, anybody had any experience with this?

  • Your riff is like the style of Arctic Monkeys :D

  • @st9ler AVRI is AVRI. Japan JM is Japan JM.

  • @rosecigar woah, too much information over there

  • How do you think, can I get Avri sound by putting Duncan SJM vintage pickups into a Japan JM? AVRI costs so much...

  • @St9ler get the mim classic series jazzmaster then-- great guitar at 1/2 price of avri and much better than the other models

  • do you mind putting up the chords?

  • After hearing it I love tha tone o what song is that

  • @vladtheimppaler Thanks is just some riffs i find.

  • Great sound. Have a JM too (82er MIJ). Love the sound. more percussive and darker than a strat...

  • @Reulor YES

  • These are great guitars. Tunning handled really well compared to my strats. I never cared for the alternate switching. Too mellow/thick. The only problem I had was the strings flopping off the bridge when I played hard. I just added a buzz stop, 11 gage strings and that solved that problem. I played this with a Fender Vibroluxe & a Kalamazoo from Lovepedal. Sounded nice! Unfortunately some butt monkey stoled my jazzmaster from me a few days ago. :( I'll get one again one day.

  • whats better this or strat or tele or mustanf or jaguar?

  • @comedybenj they are all different and unique in there own way depends on the sound you are going for.

  • @comedybenj strat

  • I mean My Immortal?

  • Are you playing immortal?

  • Does it detune quite often with much tremolo use? Which Jaguar or Jazzmaster detunes more often? Thank you for this nice video.

  • this guitar is mex or USA?

  • usa @juanmarshall

  • It's called AMERICAN VINTAGE, you fuck

  • Very preety.

  • AVRI @PoopyMcgoober

  • what does AVRI mean?

    great guitar ... excellent sound!

  • American Vintage Reissue @vastrange

  • I recently modded ny jazzmaster with Curtis Novak pickups, and now it is the best sounding guitar I've ever heared. A P-90 for the bridge, and vintage style JM-pickup for the neck. I also added a tune-o-matic bridge, because the stock bridge kept falling apart, and was only a handicap for the guitar. And, I only tune it every 14th day or so. It's crazy. And, I play really agressive stuff like Hendrix, Nirvana, White Stripes , or The Doors. I use the tremolo allot too. I absolutley LOVE JM's!

  • Yes jazzmaster rules. @tomseventyr

  • Thanks for the demo. I have the exact same guitar, color and all. My question for you is what strings do you have on it? Brand, gauge, nickel or nickel plated steel, flatwound or round wounds? Thanks.

  • DR 11-50, best string for me!

  • hello, cool vindeo! can you do a video in wich your playing a lil louder? so i can see what tones you get out of this by strummiing in different ways? also in different picups pleaz thanks.

  • i want one of these but i play more blues/rock/shred/metal.. would you recomend?

  • Xxtomzda1xX, it depends on what type of blues and rock you are talking about. However, I would not reccomend this guitar for shred/metal.

  • right

  • @Xxtomzda1xX

If nothing else, It wouldn't sound bad if you played metal on it. look up "jazzmaster shred" It just looks a bit out of place. But Make sure to get a buzzstop to keep your strings in place and for sustain. Blues definitely, and rock. It has a sweet fuzz-crunch.

  • nice bright pickups.

Do you find the jazzmaster stays in tune, or with frequent use of tromollo arm, it falls out of tune?.

  • My jazzmaster stay in tune for a good period but i order a mastery bridge and i sure with this bridge my guitar stay alot more in tune.

  • I didnt have to tune my Jazzmaster for more than 2 weeks now and use the whammy a lot and play kind of aggresive. So I would say they can be really good in that point! No special bridge installed. :)

  • @TheonlyLamp well sounds like you havent been playing hardcore enough my freind it needs more feeling

  • Nice demo!

  • Thanks :)
