First, in this quest they are making that giant into DRUNK ^^ so ye, he can't be so smooth with his moves. And secondly, it's still not open beta, It's closed beta. Animations are the last thing they will take care of in the game. (That's what I have heard of O.o )
If that were the case it would have been sorted by now. Yet it's been almost 8 months with no changes. They have bigger fish to fry. Class balances, Living Guilds, testing the 5 careers that arn't in the game yet, etc. Trust me, i'm in beta. The fact that "it's in beta" hardly works anymore. It's 3 months or so from release, and we're taking the beta in stages. Next stage is testing living guilds, then it's open beta and minor bug fixes and class balance. Not mob pathing.
i know, i have played beta as well and i saw some dragon flying around in some horrible looking way, THOUGH, i dismissed it knowing it was beta and its just a place marker for when they make it look better. i wasnt saying beta is to fix those things, i know what beta is all about :)

if you actually READ my comment, you will know that i am in BETA and have seen no visable change to this mobs pathing. This interface isn't more than 7 months old by the way. It's more like 4 months old. This interface was being used at the march conventions and during beta. The newer interface has started being used in the last couple of months. With the map changed to square (a bad change in my opinion)
You guys should try WAR again... I hardly find pathing issues like this anymore.

clearly they need to put some polish on the giants pathing. He walks strange. Hopefully it'll be fixed by the time BETA is over.

It's not even open beta. Pathing and animations are some of the last things that get done ina mmo.
