@russzkij um... in the movie Continuum, a device is shown where Ba'al dials out without a DHD... 2nd, wouldn't it be kinda lame if 30 min of every 40 min episodes would be devoted to teaching the new race/people english?... 3rd, in a latter episode, it is shown that the system lords eat mature goa'ulds in a ceremony...

the Tok'ra queen is just 1, Goa'uld on the other hand have lots of those queens, like Kleo, a fossil worm, and Isis was a queen too...

it's not arrogant. people are too stupid to understand such a thing. it will create an incredible disorder on the planet. people will go crazy and start creating some sutpid false religion on it; mass suicide, fear.. ever.ything would change , you cannot understand how massy it could become. people would not be ready for such a discovery. Governaments should prepare peoples through a long "education program ". I mean they can't make stargate public out of the blue. They have to prepare us during time, for example by teaching us more science and encouraging people to open their mind. Anyway...it's a very hard task. Nowdays people would just start thinking that stargate was created by god or by devil or horseshit like those.... mass suicide, false new religions... etc..
