wow now the air costs the same as the macbook! it just goes to show how much money they spent into developing the thing. and they probably realised that it wasnt a really good investment,so now they really havn't changed the desing or anything and downgraded the hardware! it doesn't even have the backlight keyboard anymore!
i paid 2300 for my macbook air with 3 yr warranty, and it truly is a great computer, i gave away my old PC and will never waste money on another PC again
The Macbook Air is - unfortunately - a product were design and function has not been harmonized. The design is fantastic - but function is bad caused by the special design.
I saw today a MBP in a portugal store and the MBP not appear to be of alluminium. A friend told me the alumminium wirelees keybord of apple have a different touch and it is appear to be the alluminium and for he the MBP 17" it is only the one is builded of alluminium. Guys check if the MBP 13" is the alluminium and reply here. Thanks
The MacBook Air is for people who already has a desktop computer and need something to travel with. The MacBook Air should not be used for for a primary computer!
Dave , the macbook air doesn't come with a ethernet adapter!! Its all wireless, I do agree they should include a dvd drive though, but you can do your dvd's wirelessly to !! I however would love a macbook air! :D :D
Lol nice edit! I traded my 1.6 Air for the 13 mbp , only because I needed the extra HD space and RAM - otherwise I would happily have kept the Air , its a great machine.

Actually it does come with an ethernet adaptor. I was surprised to find it in the box. Very handy. You'll see in my forth coming videos.
