  • I bought my cheaper case verse Cooler Master Elite Mid Tower Case, RC-310-BWN1-GP (Blue) for 35 bucks on amazon by amazon, & I also got A new cooler master 560 watt power supply for 35 bucks awell

  • Will an HD 6950 fit in this case?

  • will a gtx 550 ti fit into this? please reply

  • will this psu fit on the cooler master elite 310

Thermaltake Toughpower XT 650-Watt 80+ Bronze ATX 2.3 Power Supply

  • Finally have a listen to the stock cooling...

*hears nothing, puts volume on max*

    THE GALDIATOR 600 CASE.....!!!!!!!!!

  • Im getting them both :)

  • Is it safe to run 2 video cards in these cases? (GeForce GTX 560TI). Its my first build and I want good performance from a mid size case.

  • Hi, I love your reviews, they're really helpful. I'll be building a pc soon and i am wondering , do i have to use the case on a hard surface for the psu fan? I know i could mount it the other way, so that the fan is on top, but then there would be a slight cable management issue. So will the feet provide enough lift from the surface to give sufficient air to the power supply? It has a 120mm fan, corsair 500cx builder series. Thanks guys :)

  • Wow I didn't notice the Blue Trim good thing he pointed that out.

  • both are at best buy

  • 2:37 Is that a 750W PSU for 1 120mm fan?

    XD

  • Will HD 6970 fit in gladiator?

or its better to choose CM 690 II advanced?

  • @WaylockGaming I dont think so, I have 4870 in Gladiator and it barely fitted in.

  • @kendu10 thank you, i will look on some more expensive cases then, something like CM storm "enforcer" or 690 II perhaps.

  • Thanks for the review. It is always appreciated.

  • The Gladiator or Centurion 5 II ?

  • Let's buy this case :D

  • Ehhh, someone know where you can get a side panel for the Elite 310 (window, not without) because I only got one without window :(

  • @TheComputerNerd0101 TigerDirect

  • Will a AMD HD 6870 fit in this case ?

  • @killenkallasjohan

    it will

  • @88deathmetal are you sure? I don't want to lost my money

  • @desetnik15second

yeah, my case is like half the size and my xfx radeon hd 5850 managed to fit perfectly, so don't worry about it

  • @killenkallasjohan will it? and/or the 6950?

  • @killenkallasjohan maybe fit but will burn

  • @killenkallasjohan I have the cooler master 310 case and my radeon hd 6870 fits with plenty of room in it

  • @killenkallasjohan If you're talking about the Elite 310; yes it can, I have the case.

  • @killenkallasjohan have Sapphire Dirt 3 6950 2GB in my Elite 310 case

  • @killenkallasjohan i know you commented a year ago and there is a possibility you have learnt something by now but in the video he measures the case 12inch long you cana just do a review on the gfx card and will find the length

  • The elite looks sexy, ima get it soon...

  • @psychoclown420 i got one, it's damn sexy and damn cheap.

  • @eilif9 Yeah, it's a good budget case, i've been using it for 6 months, problem is there isn't really any cable management, but you won't be entering it any contests anyway... It's not very big but it fits full ATX and surprisingly long gpu's (almost 11 inches). I got a gtx 260 in there, it's 10.5 inches (same as a gtx 580) and it has around 1/2 inch to spare, plus tons of HDD racks

  • @psychoclown420 so an 11.5 inch card can't fit in the 310 huh

  • @mast3rmgl nope, but you'll be hard-pressed to find one for under $700 lol. If you're gonna pay that much for a card, you might as well get a more expensive case than a $40 one... but like i said, it'll fit a gtx 580

  • @psychoclown420 I changed to the had 912 and my build price is 850 something lol I may get a $240 dollar card and wont mind spending 40 on a case dont get your might as well point there but whatever, I don't need a 200 dollar case to match :-)

  • haf*

  • @psychoclown420 I was gonna get the elite 310 but then opted for the Elite 430

  • @MacTechReviews00 I'm torn between them. The Elite 310 is sleek and sexy, but the Elite 430 is big and bulky, even though it has more variability. I was also looking at the Elite 431 Plus. Idk, i'm all for aesthetics haha.

  • lol not kickass? wow thats a first for me to see in his videos =0

  • @BatchFileHelper eh not really. 700w Cooler Master Silent Pro is 90 bucks. Not bad if you ask me.

  • @BatchFileHelper OR you could have just gotten a modular psu..

  • Has it got "GEE DEE DEE ARR 5 RAM"?

  • @richardh754 That;s video ram, HURP HURP

  • Gladiator 600 is quite awesome for its price.

    I have it myself.

The black "buttons" near the expansion slots were very bad though.

I antecedently broke 2 of them. You should be cautious with them.

  • Can this take a HD 6870 ?

  • Yes.

  • CAN THIS CASE HANDLE A GTX 480?

  • Does anybody know if a Cooler Master v8 will fit inside this case? I'm currently running i7 920, Xfx ATI 5850, ASUS P6X58D-E and 6gb of Corsair 1600 on stock cooling. Any cpu cooler suggestions? Thanks.

  • @AxellSlade Holy ****

  • How big are the feet holes on the elite 310?

  • will the elite 310 go good with CM GX 750 Watts PSU?

    my specs are

    intel core 2 duo E7400 2.8 ghx

    asus P5KPl-CM mobo

    4 Gb ram

    2 drives

    i DVD

and 20 inch height to spare.

so the GX 750 is ATX 12V V2.3 PSU.so will it fit in this cabinet?

  • will the elite 310 go good with CM GX 750 Watts PSU?

  • On the bottom are 4 plastic feet lol

  • what is the pros and cons on haveing the psu at the botton and does i install it with the psu fan up or down?

  • got the elite 310 in blue.

    It's awesome

  • Does anybody know if a SAPPHIRE 100297L Radeon HD 5830 1GB will fit in this case. The card measures 11.5 inches.

  • i have a xfx 5850 fitted in this case !!!

  • hu is best ?

  • Just wondering, does having the PSU at the bottom of the case have any advantages?

  • @alienROCKZ Yes heat rises naturally no it can be blow out the back.

  • Cooler Master Gladiator OR Rosewill Challenger???

(plaese look it up before Choosing) Thanks :-)

  • Can an ATI HD5870 fit in CM Gladiator 600?

  • @millGR i think so.. they are 11 inch cards right? they should be just fine

  • 3dgameman your the best case reviewer, i really like that case i got the blue one

  • my elite 310 doesnt have a window

  • CM 690 II ADVANCED and BASIC are much much better than any of these two cases.

  • can the Gladiator 600 Fit a GTX260+ graphic card?

  • @nickz89 Yes it can fit two in SLI although its quite a squeeze. :)

  • I own a gladiator 600! I LOVE IT!!!!!

  • @stenudden What's better, the Coolermaster Scout, or the Gladiator?

  • depends on what your looking 4.

  • Can the Cooler Master Elite 310 fit a V8?

  • lol

  • gay reply -.-1

  • lol, i thought you were joking and meant a v8 car engine but now i know what you mean.

I think a v8 will fit but with only just so i wouldn't recommend it

  • Nah i just take a evo

  • it fits but you might remove the upper fan that comes standard with the gladiator 600 case and move that to the back of the case.

  • Ha, ha! :D

  • @ 0:15 I got scared for a second LOL

  • whaiii??

  • He 's face popped in quickly and he started speaking so fast ;P

  • lol...true :D

  • I like the style of the elite 310 its a shame they did not include black interior, cable managment and more places to fix fans to it but then again its only a budget case I suppose.

  • should i get the cooler master gladiator 600, scout or haf 922?

  • @bambihumper I'm wondering too, I think I'm gonna go for the Scout, gonna buy it tommorow :D

Ill send you a message how I think it is.

    Add me as friend

  • cool, i have done a lot of research and a think i will take the haf 932. its big and you could put any thing in it

  • have fun with no dust filters. lol.

  • lol, you can buy separate dust filters. And having no dust filters isnt the end of the world, i would just have to clean it regulary

  • I want to see a revoltec sixty 3 review.

  • I did not get the "nice stylish clear window" when i bought the case :(

  • so u

  • can i put a uatx mobo

  • Shit, I didn't know there was a fan at the front. I ordered 1 120MM fan.

  • All mid-tower and full-tower cases now come with either a 120mm or 140mm fan at the front , and you gotta check the case if the case has exhaust fan included...

  • Im getting my parents a new computer for christmas, I chose the Elite 310 for the case, but I got one without a window. I chose the CoolerMaster Silent Blue LED 90CFM Fan 120mm for the front.

I also got a Lamptron Classic Fanguard with Filter for the front fan and two DEMCi Flex Magnetic Fan Filter to put over the two vents in the side panel.

  • lol , just get ur parent's a normal case , if they dun care much , like my parents , i gave them a Cosmos RC-1000 case ...

  • You should have also mentioned that the Cooler Master Gladiator 600 comes with a 500 watt power supply, otherwise thanks, Rodney!

  • Not all the models do.

  • OK. Actually I would have preferred to get the case even cheaper without a power supply but the 500 was in there and there wasn't a huge power demand to be expected from it so it was adequate and reasonably priced.

  • Hmm for the price of gladiator 600, i'd get a cm 690 instead.

  • Hoping Rodney can calrify few things. He mentions Gladiator 600 doesnt have much room to work whereas Storm Scout video review he mentions there's fair amount of room to work. Several reviews (e.g. techpowerup) indicate Gladiator interior is identical to Scout & should have same amount of internal room, cable management, etc. Is this true? Gladiator seems to have most features(except removable motherboard tray) that I am looking for and I am not into gaming/moving case frequently.

  • I havent seen these cases IRL but I think that they may be the same except for the paint job, handle and different front bezel. I think Storm Scout = Gladiator 600, just more marketing.

  • Idk how the Gladiator isn't kick-ass. It has a ton of features and is only $50 shipped on Newegg right now.

  • i know, right! Looks like a great case

  • the elite looks more attractive

  • I have a coolermaster 310 elite and it look ALOT better in person. It is a great case! I have 1x 120mm fan at back (exhaust) and 1x 120mm blue LED fan at side (intake)

    Temps stay cool.

  • how is the power supply on the 310?

  • i like em Both ! :D i orderd The Gladiator 600 for a cliant but im thinking of getting it my self for my AMD pc ^^ but not sure wich one of these i will get i like both

  • gladiator ftw :D

  • It depends if its the cooler master elite 310 or the gladiator 600 because the cm 310 doesn't have a hole on the top.

  • Only put dust filters on intakes because thats where all the dust comes from.

  • I like the Gladiator ^_^

  • I prefer the Sileo 500 case. These are way too flashy. But... very nice review again!

  • Well, filters on the top exhaust fans might hurt more than help but I had a close call today when my friend accidentally spilled water into my case through the top fan port. Good thing my computer was off. But from this example, you can see where having foam mesh filters (like the rest of my fans) on the top exhausts may come in handy for freak water accidents, or if you constantly use your computer as a drink coaster, like me.

  • hey beavis ... if you like replace the m in that dudes name w/ a y ; it says like 3dgayeman...

  • Hey Rodney, you should do a review on the Thermaltake "Level 10" when it comes out next month. Looks like an interesting case design.

  • Wow Rodney is really showing his age in this video...noooooooo

  • i would prefer the Antec 300 over both these CM cases

  • I never had a CM PSU but I loved my CM Centurion 590 midtower. Granted, it only came with 2x120mm fans. I was able to fit 4x120mm intakes (w/ 4-in-3 HD cage) and 3x120mm exhausts. I was also able to install a couple of sheets of sound dampening foam on both sides of the case. I bet I could even mount a DangerDen 2x140mm fan radiator on the top. The only problem I had was the lack of dust filters for the side and top fans and PSU. But that's not a problem with a little premeditation or ingenuity.

  • why would you need dust filters for the top fans? they exhaust hot air :s

  • when the fans are off dust falls through

  • they actually keep in the dust that goes around the dust filters on the intakes XD. i would take them out

  • Oops, didn't mean to say the top fan. I didn't put filters on my top fans.

  • When you turn your computer off dust falls down into it ;)

  • But wouldn't most of that be blown out when you turn the computer on again?

  • no wonder there are 1000+ reviews.... they're all pretty much identicle. Rodney should spice it up abit! lol

  • there must be like 1000.000 kind of cases like this, just with different looks

  • Rodney likes his motherboard trays to be removable!

  • Is it just me or does it remind you of the thermaltake soprano rs.

  • HE missed the additional firewire at the front

  • YOU missed the fact that there was no port behind the plastic.

  • What part of the word additional don't you understand? I meant that you can add a firewire port! Look at 0:47.

  • I think so...

  • Some coolers are bigger ( like the Zalman CNPS 10x ) and they are very heavy and can damage your motherboard ( like bend it or worse ) so there is retention plate that goes behind the motherboard and gets screwed in on to the cooler for extra stability and strength.

  • 121215021212151

  • coolermaster gladiator 600 or coolermaster 690...can't decide which one to pull the trigger on..

  • eh... its alright, but if its beyond $100 then its a little rip-off.

  • no for standard coolers, sometimes you want another cooler, so you have to put an new plate at the back of your motherboard, without the hole you have to remove the full motherboard otherwise you just leave it in inside the case

  • I have the 600 and it about dust and heat free. The filters are a super help and I can see in the left side if theres any dust and after 6mo. its still very clean.Down side is case wont fit where old one did its kinda big but I still love it.

  • NIce' Case

  • The Gladiator deserves a kickass rating IMO.

  • antec 300 FTW

  • I like the tool-less design idea.

I've lost count the amount of times i've dropped screws with my clumsy hands.

  • Intake - optional? -_-" If I could, I would have given it between kickass and great.

  • Great=a whopping piece of shit

  • great = 3/5, like he said they are not bad cases, they are more of a buget case, now you start getting into the kissass and 100% kickass cases that have alot of features, you gooing to be sepending a good bit of money

  • The Ultra XBlaster with or without the side window, looks like a great deal in the barebones kits from Tigerdirect aka CompUSA, but there not they cage is too close to a standard mobo, making it hard to route cables, the front panel is a joke, cables are almost too short to reach, Air flow is just awful, I could go on but i won't. Like i said before please don't get this case, the old Ultra Defender Rod reviewed a good while back is much better then this newer Ultra case I talked about.

  • I just bought the Antec 300 case, and despite it not being tooless I like it. Very good value for the money. it's only $54.95 @ Newegg. I did add one side 120mm fan (AMD Phenom Quads run warm), but stock cooling for most is just awesome. One other plus to the Antec 300 is professional modders love it, cause it's almost a blank canvas. O yeah almost forgot the 3 stock blue led fans look wicked in the dark. ;-) please don't get the Ultra XBlaster it cam in my barebones, why i got the Antec 300.

  • both cases look excellent just one problem with the Elite 310 the front bezel has a pop out slot for a firewire port which ruins the look

  • p190 ftw (A)

  • I think I would choose the Elite 310 over an Antec 300. And one cooling fan at the front is not a fail at all, this is a budget case, designed for budget components, so there is no need for 3 fans at the front if you dont have a crazy 4.2ghz i7 tri sli set up. Nice cases, and great review as always :D

  • Comment removed

  • This case is best for Gamein II cpu Cooler

  • er 2

  • theres only one fan for the 310 case.. fail

  • the gladiator look very similar to the e-lite 335

  • The Elite looks kind of cheap. The Gladiator looks a lot better though, in almost every aspect.

  • where did you learn all of this? is this what you went to school for?

  • I was waiting all the way through this for something to resist him and watch the RODNEY RAGE we saw in his last video. 5/5

  • the first case is obviously a cheap budget case. i would rather pay the extra for a case that has had some thought put into the design to make our lifes easyer ;-)

  • Nice video.

  • wow muscles 4:24

  • NO U!

  • hay i know i said the 310 looks sleek but i thought the 310 was Gladiator 600 so ya :/

  • does anyone ever actually swap out the stock fans for SMALLER fans? what would be the point?

and does anyone think that rodneys videos are becoming more rushed and less detailed?

  • Power consumption. The less power you use cuts on down on consumption of natural resources. In other words Green is in the new fad. Think of all the Pu**y you could get. You tell a chick you PC is eco-friendly and that a** is yours.

So yeah, smaller fans are the way to go.

  • What are you talking about? Big fans and small fans have no diffrence in power consumption.

unless your using a Delta fan... in that case neither big or small fan from delta is efficient in power.

  • wow you are a fucking retard

  • You seem to know quite a bit about the opposite sex. Please enlighten us with your infinite wisdom.

  • Damn right I do, my tips always work in the chat rooms
