  • If you listen to/watch Hubbard's lectures in full, they make a good deal of sense most of the time. This is not because Hubbard was a genius, but because he's saying things that no rational person would argue with. War IS insanity, our governments ARE corrupt. Where Hubbard's true talent lay was in making complete common sense seem like profound revelations of a mighty mind. Mix it in with bafflingly pseudo-logical ideas about the mind and identity, add hypnotism, and you have LRH's patter.

  • I am starting to think that he is the actual Xenu the intergalactic evil rulah.

  • Or something else?

  • This was a profound mind!

  • @LandingCraft1969 I beg to differ

  • Scatter brain

  • Google 'intergalactic walrus' for add'l lulz.

  • He admits here that DMSMH (Book One) does not produce a clear yet it is sold saying it is possible to clear people....fraud.

    Fuck him.

  • What did I get from this 10 minute lecture? Hubbard knows a lot about being paranoid. Spirits stealing his social security card, the fact that everybody is evil, and that Hubbard has a lot of feelings about communists.

  • What the hell is this lecture about? I've listened to this 3 times and still have no idea what his point is. And what is the audience laughing about? I guess I just don't get it!!!

  • @thecatm4n -the lecture isn't about much. It's a typical Hubbard 'lecture',a whole heap of nonsense thats coming off the top of his head. The audience is laughing etc because they're very appreciative of everything he says, Ron is their saviour,he is ,the ultimate authority on mind and spirit to scientologists.

As an outsider Its hard to understand the scientologists adoration of Hubbard.

  • Thx for that clip anonshawi.

Thats pretty rare footage,i'd never seen video of a Hubbard 'lecture' till this,I'd only heard the audio.

    Thumbs up.

  • its amazing how hubbard lived the last 40 odd yrs of his life a chronic liar....no wonder he finally cracked and went mad at the end of his crazy life.

he was a great speaker though.he often gave 'lectures' straight off the top of his head whilst fueled by drugs, and it was something new each time,by watching him its easy to c he was a natural and public speaking was one of his true loves.

  • thx

  • <<<<<SP<<<<

  • That is weird I saw the 1st George Bush and nixion's face in him here and them shareing bodies does not hurt, I see metaphysical shades very well, do you see? I am me.

  • Can't measure up to people like Frank Herbert, Dan Simmons or Greg Egan in my opinion...

  • He wasn't ever a good sci-fi author...

  • Everytime the red dot (laser light) passed accross his head I was thinking "just pull the trigger already".

Hubbard sure could talk for a hell of a long time about nothing.

  • Fucking deluded psychopathic bs artist.

    Awefully painful as always.

    brb//wrists.......

  • Pure blather. 10:22 minutes of just rambling. Similar to the thought patterns of a psychotic lunatic

  • Memorable? Congress? Straight down the line? This guy is such a fucking retard.

  • Confident public speaker who covers a lot of ground.

  • L.Ron= Hitler

  • I kept forcing myself to continue watching this hoping there'd be some sort of point, or that the title would bear fruit with some kind of expose' or presentation of contrary facts, or... SOMETHING. But no, just 10:22 of elRong's delusional blathering. UGH!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 10:05 LRH states a problem normal people have - "an equality complex". Note: LRH does not have an equality complex [ it is abundantly clear at this point in his lecture, he thinks he is better/smarter than everyone else in the world ] . So according to LRH everyone ( except him ) has an "evil synthetic personality". But a mirror would make it so apparent who really has the type of personality he is describing.

  • It's a really mem morable occasion.

What always strikes me is how he always thinks he's vastly more clever than he really is.

and listen to the weird enthralled/forced laughter. Fucking creeperish.

  • Next to the girl from The Ring crawling out of the T.V., this video, this ranks high on the scary scale. The fuzzy, out of focus look only enhances it.

  • At 1:26 "we have made an enormous amount of progress" notice Hubbard slips up before he says "practise" almost like he almost said "money" if you look at his mouth before forming the word what do you think, maybe wishful thinking...

  • What a sick fuck. No wonder $cientology keeps taking these videos down. they dont anyone to see how much of sick fuck he is.

  • No shit mon!

That people actually look up to this drugged out con artist is amzing as well.

I think you have to give up a good portion of yer brainz to listen to much of his rambling bullshit blatherin'!

    ouch!

    XP

  • what a garrulous lunatic ! he just likes to listen to himself - no substance

  • paranoia much?

  • Seeing Hubbtard makes me vomit, hearing Hubbtard makes me vomit but both?! Nearly killed me. What a disgusting asshole and what a crap he talks.... He handles, huh? Should have handled his drug abuse.

  • WTF

  • I keep wondering what's going through the minds of the audience when they hear Hubbard speak.

I would guess their thoughts sound something like this.

I can't really understand what he is saying, but every now and then it makes sense, so he must be saying something really deep, or I'm just not in the right state of mind to understand him right now, but surely he is saying something. After all, this man is next to perfection, so perhaps I need a good nights sleep.

  • "I keep wondering what's going through the minds of the audience when they hear Hubbard speak."

Which minds? If they had minds they wouldn't be there. :P

  • I get your point, but in the real world, many of thinking members have been tricked by a seemingly impressive philosophy, and its just a matter of time before they wake up and join those of us who discovered the truth about Scientology.

  • Hope you are right. :)
