My pom died the last day of last year, also hit by a car. Not a good way to end the year or start the day. Though everyone was saying "Happy New Year", I kept thinking about how unhappy I was. I have a pomeranian, she is young, but last year i had to say goodbye to my older pom. He was 14. Its such a heartbreak when you become so attached! But, I believe they are waiting for us in heaven, so not all is lost! He's in a better place running through meadows and happy! Take one day at a time and allow your heart to heal. Think of the good times, but dont let the bad ones ruin the good!

Hello Bubz, I am a guy and my pomeranian has died today on Febuary the 1st... Great way to start the month.It was only a few months old and when i watch this video it makes me cry and wish that she was here. My pomeranian died by getting ran over because her leash broke causing her to run right in front of a car and my brother not reacting fast enough. I hope you and Chubbi do well. I pray for my now dead dog Ninja to be with us when we can't see her. This story is true I wish it never happened.

My first very own doggie(dachshund) wasn't even a year old when she drowned on a hunting trip with my dad. I was 11, and she was my everything.

Now I have a new one, which I love as much as Imelda, but, even tho I know she'd love it, I can't let her go hunting, because I don't trust my brother and dad enough.

I know it hurts, and it takes time, but you will get over the sorrow and be able to think of all the good memories.

@Xskya i.. i.. i feel so bad for you!! when i was in first grade, my dad brought my cat to the vet one saturday while the rest of my family stayed home. a couple hours later he finally came home with a box in his hands, but not Harry (the cats name).. i asked him where the cat was and he didnt respond so i asked again. he answered and said he was dead, and i thought he was joking so i asked him again and got the same respond. Harry has been buried in my back yard for 6 yrs and i miss him too.
