Being nit picky here but, the lyrics to Fight Tiger are "Fight TIGER, fight for ol' Mizzou, Right behind you everyone is with you, break the line and follow down the field, and you you'll be on the top, upon the top. Fight TIGER you will always win, proudly keep the colors flying skyward in the end you'll have a victory so TIGERS fight for ol' Mizzou."
Only the very last "Tiger" is plural. Hence why the song is called Fight TIGER. Ex-M2 member and it bothers me when people sing it incorrectly.

I went to the game in San Antonio. My seat was directly across the field from the endzone where both bands were, so I had a great view of the bands. Both teams did their pregame routine and it seemed fair. But during the game, Marching Mizzou and the Pride would constantly play at the same time, and there were numerous times when the Pride interrupted Marching Mizzou to play Boomer Sooner for the 2,000th time. Not a neutral site if you ask me.
I'm in the Pride. Honestly, it was VERY hard to hear. It's hard to hear the other band when you're sitting on the same side of the stadium. We certainly don't do it on purpose. We respect other bands and we enjoyed the Marching Mizzou.
If you want to talk about classy, what about you guys starting the M-I-Z-Z-O-U chant whenever our players were hurt?
OK, fair enough. Originally I got the sense that it was intentional, but I can completely understand if it's hard to hear down there. Being next to the student sections, combined with the overly loud PA announcer and music over the loudspeakers made it a ridiculously noisy atmosphere.
I am sorry some dumb Mizzou fans chanted M-I-Z...when people were injured. I certainly was not one of them.
I have a feeling Missouri and Oklahoma will be facing off a lot in the next few years with high stakes!

I'm going there next year... I usually only get to do the HOORAY HOORAH MIZZOU MIZZOU when they come to St. Louis to play the fuckin Illini but I'm sooo pumped when I can do this as part of the University...
Using music is a sign of a bad musician? Again, M2 is filled with a lot of different majors, not primarily music majors. Even though marching band is a great love for the majority (if not all) of us, we have other things on our plates.
Whether a band uses music or not shows nothing. Our flic section and drumline section do not use music, so it is possible for us, but we would prefer to have more people actually play.
Marching band is about playing and marching, not just making perfect forms.
The camera was up in the press box and didn't have a great sound level on it. The announcer doesn't even sound that loud, even though the camera was right near him.
And "the Big M of the Midwest" is kind of implying that we are a big school that starts with M (Mizzou), much like Michigan.
There is no reason to hate on Marching Mizzou. You don't hear us bashing you here, now do you?

Using flip folders does not make you a bad band. We are not from a huge school for music majors, just a bunch of people that love to march with a few music majors thrown in.
No, I wasn't the one to record it. It was recorded from the press box. Thanks, though. A marching show ALWAYS looks better from above as that is where you see the forms. I'm only upset that I couldn't fit the run-on in the ten minutes allowed.

kU's came later and is a different arrangement than Mizzou's. The song is actually used by several universities across the country
