You are the best belly dance instructor I have come across yet. The words you use to describe the movements, the fact that you show foot movements, as well as including every angle of the the dance make everything so much easier to understand. I have been watching other belly dance instructors on Youtube, and I just can't follow them very well. Thanks!

I'm moving my heels up and down when I do this move.... Am I doing it wrong?

well...yes. try to keep the whole foot on the ground. lifting the heel is just a habit really.

if you were doing this in high heels your heel would still be sitting comfortably in the shoe.

really? ok, then put one finger on each hip , stand in front of mirror so you can watch yourself, and focus on your finger when making the shapes.
