Remember, we Muslims must be endowed with broad knowledge because Islam and our Holy Qur'an is based on logical thinking, not by its abandonment. Those terrorists simply misinterpret its translation and message - as the Shaykh has stressed on how Islam isn't a simpleton's religion. We don't just follow it blindly - we use brains.

I don't speak Arabic. Almost every Khatib I heard does that. This is for those who don't understand Arabic.

I like his frequent use of Arabic! As an English person learning Arabic, I find his use of the two languages very useful as a teaching aid. I also noticed that we often have one word in English and you have two or more words in Arabic (eg Hassan, Tayyib, khair,= good), sometimes even there is no exact equivalent in English - so to hear the Arabic word is useful.
