  • every time i watch this i shed a tear</3

  • @Thefreakboy48 thx for the help

  • What's the name of the song that comes on when mikail pulls the pin on the grenade

  • @ilovesquid1329 the whole song is looking glass half full.

  • I love Charlie I was sad when he died

  • What's the slow sad song called cause I hear it alot and I like it

  • This death is the only death that I"ve cried to although I have only started watching them and am up to season 4 disc 2 but I didn't really care about the others that have died so far

  • @Falevere Indeed. His death was one of the most dramatic. If only the others had done a better job mourning him...

  • Why didn't he wait for the water level to fill the room take one last breath and then climb out the porthole... I know there's a crazy guy but you know?...

  • @Starlight1571 he had to die im guessing your not in season 3 but you will get it when youre season 3

  • @spikesandfire Actually I've seen Series 1 to 6 but now I'm going back and looking it over. I know Desmond had several premonitons of Charlies death and that, in order for them to leave the island, Charlie had to die. But even so I was just pointing out that there's a clear and obvious escape route anyway!

  • See you in another life, Brotha.

  • He could of just run out the room and closed the door from the otherside and said by the way mate it's not Pennys boat.

  • @arnoldcob1 if charlie didn't stay inside desmond would have gone in to talk to penny. so charlie saved his life!

  • Sometimes you just have to lose a loved character to make a magnificent scene.

  • Im still crying. I love charlie, aaron loves charlie, claire loves charlie, the audiences loved charlie. It didnt make sense to kill him off, plus he couldave made it out that door in time.

  • @danceaddict143 yeah he could have made it out :( but he would have died another way anyway because Desmond kept on saving his life

  • NNNOOO WHY!!!!!!!

  • WHY DID CHARLIE HAVE TO DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @TonyWestlake Yeah, but have you ever read any Dan Brown books? Drowning is a really crappy way to go.

  • This and Warrick's death from C.S.I. Las Vegas are the greatest scenes of all time. I mean that in a good way.

  • OMG, i cry like a baby everytime. Charlie was my favorite and i'm so mad they killed him off... And the all thing with the ring and Claire not seeing it broke my heart. IT WAS FOR AARON, his son (no matter what science says, Charlie was his father).

But i don't get it: Why did Charlie shut the door instead of running, plunging into the pool and swimming to the surface ? Or why didn't he just swim through the hole the explosion created and then swim to the surface ?

  • @pepetebleu Because if he had left the door open, the whole station would have flooded before they could get out. As well, the porthole was WAY too small for him to swim through.

  • charlie was the best!!!

''and what your gonna hit me with your jesus stick?''

I was so piss when claire took aron and left the ring behide, of course she didn't it was there but still the ring was the only thing left of charlie, they could at least found it in season 6 or something

  • To save Claire and Aron

  • why he kill himself again

  • charlie never must die

  • That was the only time I cried wile I was watching lost

  • I say the same as peg or what ever his name was

  • @smathew005 Yeah that's what I was thinking I just wanted to know if anyone else thought that's what they were saying...i think that's a great moment that Charlie thanks him for giving him a purpose even if Desmond can't understand what he is being thanked for

  • Charlie seems to mouth "Thank you" to Desmond

and I think Desmond mouths "For What?" anyone else getting that?

  • @jimmycoughlan It's probably related to the fact Desmond foretold Charlie's death. Desmond didn't know when and where but there was nothing Charlie or anyone could do to prevent it. Now Charlie knows why he had to die as well.

  • You're all right, Charlie could have got through the glass or he could have gone outside the room and locked the door, so no one would have drowned, but then Desmond would keep seeing visions of him dying. So it was only a matter of time before he did actually die.

  • i fucking cried :"(

  • the saddest scene is still when jun ans sun die

  • I'd hate to knock this scene but charlie could have saved his own life twice here

  • @HOVATHEGOD29 but he was trying to kill himself so his friends would be saved....

  • @HOVATHEGOD29 yeah, I know... but I think he was ready to die. he thought death was after him because of Desmond's visions, so he resigned himself to death

  • Charlie was my favorite character from the beginning. He faced many struggles and obstacles and shined through at the end. I was so sad to see him die.

  • The moment when Charlie nods is the saddest moment in television history. I just is soo emotional. I can't even put in words.

  • if he had enough air to get down there

then he had to have enough air to escape out

  • @6048733993 Well first of all, Patchy just exploded a hand grenade outside of the window. Second of all, the window is probably too small and awkwardly shaped for him to fit through. And lastly, i think it shows a lot of character in Charlie for staying in there and telling Desmond that it's "not penny's boat". So stop jockin' on Charlie.

  • desmond based episodes = the best ones!!!

  • favorite episode. whenever i watch this scene, live forever by oasis is playing in my head

  • what season is this from? 3 or 4?

  • @ToxicNinjaWolf

    i guess 3. yeah it's 3

i bought it today, but until now i didn't watch it.^^

    hm, it's so sad i don't know if i survive the season 3 x)

  • What did she, the woman next to claire (i don't know her name cause i dont know season 3 now (; ) , say??

She didn't say that Charlie is dead, right? ...

  • Charlies whole scene theme is ''Looking Glass half Full'' !! download it i searched for it for ages! and i found it its awesome!

  • Anyone care to explain why he had to stay in that chamber?

Couldn't just get out and close the door behind and escape with Des, or else let it flow in... they would have had plenty of time to escape the way they came in.

  • I'm pretty sure it's because the door could only be sealed from the inside, but I'm no expert.

  • Because he didn't want Desmond to save him constantly

  • The best show

  • @elvis3813 WAS the best show. Until season 4 when everything got confusing. And Charlie wasn't there.

  • unforgettable

  • Just to be pedantic, I'm going to note that the music isn't "Life and Death", it's "Looking Glass Half Full".

  • You are correct ;)

  • @IchigoNL But it is ver close to life and death its just differnet instruments
