Great clip, a personal favorite out of many favorite moments in the film.
I spent time in this very area of Tokyo a few years ago, and even now, twenty-some years on, it still looks like that, and remains one of the few areas that seems largely untouched by the frenetic pace of change so frequently apparent (for better or worse) in the rest of the city.
