You are right. You do need to be taught some class. Let's see, try not to climb fences on baseball fields.  Don't celebrate victory when the game isn't over. Don't throw your batting helmets Don't yell at your coach on the field. Don't steal the game ball (especially when you lose). And no crying on the baseball field. Remember, there's was no crying in baseball.

The reason for that - it was best out of 3 games and this was Sat. for a doubleheader if necessary. The intro of the video was of the players being introduced (game 2) so Hoover was Home for game 2... The final game 3 - it changes, so Hoover was visitor for game 3....

i play for hoover, and hoover deserved it. you know why? Hoover has more heart, more desire, and they didn't let their mistakes get inside their heads, unlike opelika. Our players focused on what was ahead of them, not behind them. As Coach Davis says, the most important pitch in baseball is the NEXT one. Hoover did what it took to win, and Opelika didn't.

Right.There was No reason to play the championship games cause U "Deserved" it. U "Deserved" it by playing a weak schedule to jack up your record. U "Deserved" it by getting outscored by Hoover 23-15. U "Deserved" it by jumping the backstop on a lucky game 1 win. U "Deserved" it when Hoover outplayed U in both games 1&2; U "Deserved" the championship shirts you bought&wore in the stands. Ever heard of "It's not over until it's over"? I'm neutral & saw all 3 games.

GAME 1 - in 10 innings Hoover gives it away- 3 - 4. Opie's celebrate by climbing backstop after winning by a hit-by-pitch - say BUSH league!

GAME 2 - Opie players are arguing with each other while getting butts kicked 12-4.

GAME 3 - Opie's up 6-2 in 6th inning r pre-celebrating dancing n dugouts. Opie's parents in stands putting on Champion T-Shirts... Hoover comes back in the 7th and scores 5 runs - Opies cry & throw helmet... Can u say Karma?

i must say that this game was absolutely a mess! i am, for one, a huge opelika baseball fan and i was at these games! hoover definitely did not win because they were the better team they won because our coach made a few terrible choices and they came back by luck! opelika definitely was the better team and these guy sure as hell desereved the title of state champions! they worked there butts off and wanted it whole-heartedly but it was takin away by our coaches choices and undeserving people!
