In salesmanship it's called "Top of Mind Awareness" . With the exceptionof Pyramid, the audience may not know Charice songs right now, but they do know these. Charice is introducing herself to a new audience and attaining Top of Mind awareness by singing songs they know. Besides, Cha makes them her OWN when she sings them.

The reason why she also sings covers is for some people who are not familiar with her yet. They have something to compare her voice to and ofcourse they will then know how amazing her voice is compared to them ya know. I mean she puts her own style to it by Belting out! So don't complain if she does this because it is not doing any harm to her career at all.

Charice is humble enough to pay tribute to artists whose songs she also happens to like. I can't believe there are those here who profess to be Charice's "fans" yet they're her first detractors when she sings songs she likes to sing. She already has her team or advisers, so stop being her manager wannabes. Remember: fans support, not give orders. You either march with her or get out of her way.

Charice can sing whatever song she likes. If you notice when Charice sings this medley at events the crowd screams and dances, meaning they enjoy it.

Her team knows best and they will get her to sing other songs when the time comes.

Charice is working really hard to promote so stop telling her what not to do and be thankful she is giving us music.

@agn0 Just imagine what the reactions of the crowd will be if she sang 'In this song', 'Thank you', 'The truth is',' I did it for you' or other slow love songs (they are all my favorites though): Do you think that they will scream, yell,or raise their hands , or jump or show their enthusiasm to the beat? I don't think so!!! She sang covered songs, yes, but they are all appropriate as to the "taste"  of the crowd.She performed very well and the audience loved it!! Love Cha...
