  • I remember the theme from this. It was sung by Richie Havens (Here Comes The Sun, Freedom). He was starting to get a lot of commercial/tv projects and this was one of them.

  • Tv movie music was so bad in the 70's.

  • 5:11 - Are we to assume that his uncle's dispensation specifically told him "And don't call me 'surly'?"

  • I remember catching this movie during a sunday matinee on tv as a little kid. It was probably after Kung Fu Theater or The Creature Double Feature when there was usually nothing on. For years, I thought I might have imagined it because nobody I mentioned it to had ever heard of it. I used to play Voyagers all the time and sometimes I'd pretend I had a watch like in this movie.

  • Thanks MorkandMindy! I will add it to my favorites!

  • @Juraiprince Cool! Thanks for watching.

  • Wow! Am I glad I came across this gem! I remember seeing this as a kid. Pam Dawber and Robert Hays were perfectly cast for this movie! I was in LOVE with her!

Thanks so much for posting this movie!

  • @Juraiprince FYI- I have all her movies on my "Pam Dawber Movies" Playlist on my channel. if you're interested. Thanks for watching.

  • One of my favorite movies; just because I love the idea of stopping (or slowing) time.

  • San Diego back in the day.........good times.

  • I remember when this aired. This was back when they syndicated first run television movies to stations. The practice ended in the 90s with cable television becoming more accessable to households.

  • I remember when this aired it was cool

  • I think given the choice between getting the watch and getting the $200 million I'd take the watch. I didn't even have to think about it.

    Thanks for posting this!!

  • @JamesonBondy You're welcome. Thanks for watching.

  • Thanks for adding this I would love to have the whole series

  • @RebelMerc You're welcome. Thanks for watching. They did make one more movie--The Girl, The Gold Watch & Dynamite, but Pam Dawber and Robert Hays weren't in it. It picked up where this one left off. As far as I know, those were the only two that were made.

  • @MorkandMindy333 for some reason I thought there was a single season of this show. I believe the woman from Faclon Crest was in it. But this was only 30 yrs ago I have slept since then. hahaha

  • @RebelMerc After the movie was originally released, they broke it up into different parts and made it into a mini series shown over several weeks, but it was the same movie.

  • The legendary Maurice Evans as Leroy Wintermore (Dr. Zaius in Planet of the Apes) adds such class and distinction to this gem.

  • @charitycase1950 No. I actually bought it from a site that sells TV movies. I have other ones on my channel if you're interested. They're in my Pam Dawber Movies Playlist. Thanks for watching. Take care.

  • @charitycase1950 Good. I hope you enjoy it . Thanks for watching.
