I grew up in the area in the height of the oxy epidemic; went and saw this movie in randolph, I must say it really hit close to home..though obviously some elements of the story and scences in the movie were exaggerated for entertainment reasons; there was so many parts in the film I could relate so much to.. thanks for making this movie johnny, i really hope this film gets the recognition it deserves.

I can say that this movie is definitely one of the best indie flicks ever. If you were ever involved in this sort of lifestyle, or know what a good movie is, watch this. But this could be the most gritty thing you've seen, so be prepared. Still makes it all the better. The director is actually even more amazing than the film. He fell off an 80 foot cliff, and fully recovered. Look for a local film fest, and you'd find him and the movie.
Boston's kill'n it right now with the movies. You had mystic river, gone baby gone, the town, departed, the fighter & I just seen what doesn't kill you with ethan hawke & mark ruffalo which was the best movie I saw with out hearing about from anyone, kind of stumbled on to a preview on youtube. Sick, I did some stunts for this movie in the jail scene, and tim sylvia helped me with some jiu jitsu techniques on a matt in the locker room lol.. I didn't think this movie was gunna be mainstream, i forgot about it until now, looks sick. the camera doesn't do justice of how scary tim is. Johnny was a cool cat too

Saw the movie tonight in Revere - it was really good. A lot more violence than I usually want to see, but given the message of the film it's understandable why it's there. Funny thing, I said to my friend as we were walking out, the acting was better than I expected, especially the brother that survived at the. Had no idea until I came home to look up info on who the actors were that he was the real person, and producer, of the film! Impressive!
People have no idea how many people watching this have and are living the exact same life right now. This story, unfortunately, is not one of a kind. I'm jus thankful I found a way to escape mine. kc979

I am 100% against the distribution of this drug. To state some facts that still haunt us today.. I know of some people who still deal with terrible painkiller addictions and will rob pharmacies and whoever to get their fix and to help others get their fix. The first step is to replace the OC pills with a much more non abusive alternative and they did that with the new OP pill, but there still is a lot more to do.IMO it is the pharm companies and corrupt doctors who are the real drug dealers
Wow, I've heard about this coming out years ago, but I'm glad to see it's finally getting out there. I'm not gonna to lie I was expecting some low budget, bad acting shit, but I was beyond impressed. This film looks amazing, it brought me right back to those times, and the hell it caused. For those of you who aren't from around here, that's some real shit that happen. Oxy's are a death sentence, and destroy tight knit family's, and community's.
I could go on and on all day about the pepole I've lost and the pepole STILL affected by this drug....But, by now i'm sure you know pepole and have youre own war stories but bottom line this needs to be seen esp by the youth fucking with pills for all the dead friends i have lost personally for all the pepole still strung out because of fucking oxys...this is a brilliant movie and needs to be heard and seen before more damage is done that cannot be fixed...spread the word pepole stop the abuse

havin the pleasure of being part of this movie was a once in a life time opportunity perhaps, being a recovering addict and growing up in the area and pretty close to the story from mutual people but never crossing paths made being part of this movie all that more special. I know from my short experience on scene this movie will be a huge success, kinda like a modern day New Jack City. Sure to open many eyes to what addiction does to more then just the one caught up, thanks for the experience
