If my kid ever did that id be like " bitch motherfucker put the dam toy down and lets get the fuck out of here before u make me lose it big time!!" nah jkjk i wouldnt do that. Seriously i wouldnt :p
Are you kidding me? You're still gonna offer her something after acting like that? How do you ever expect her to learn WHY you said no. You need punishment and a sense of discipine...I can't stand to see paren'ts be so...useless like this. I have better children in my classroom. Why? Rewards and Punishment.
I hope this spoiled little princess got a piece of coal for Christmas instead of a toy. Also, you DO NOT reward bad behavior by giving in and telling her that Grandma will be getting her a toy for Christmas. This only reinforces the temper tantrums, which starts a vicious cycle. Rather than buy them toys at Christmas time, why not donate their toy money to a charity that helps needy kids who get nothing for Christmas?
This is really NOT epic! Not a bad tantrum at all. She just needed a little guidence and training by her dad who was trying instead to get a post to youtube. Sad how kids are exploited by parents
@weirdkaylee Yea, I love how he calls them rotten little brats in the title but he's the reason why she's having a damn tantrum to begin with! Children arent born spoiled so obviously he had something to do with the way she acts
@laurenashley1212 "Children aren't born spoiled"....how many kids do you have? I have 5 and I had a daycare for a decade and I can tell you without a doubt that children are born selfish! I never had to teach them to throw a fit, or NOT to share a toy; never had to teach them TO hit or bite if the didn't get their way!
@charliesgrl2 First of all, I have one son who is 5...there is a BIG difference between being spoiled and being selfish...yes, I agree that all kids are SELFISH and need to be taught how to share. However, this little girl is not selfish, she is SPOILED because she is clearly used to getting her way as evidenced by the reaction from her dad...
@laurenashley1212 At the end of the day, each child is born different, but MY son and all SIX of my nieces and nephews have NEVER had a tantrum like this simply because they couldn't get their way, especially at this age...you expect this behavior out of a toddler, but not a five or six year old...
When I cried like that I did worse because of my autism my dad put my ass in line by dragging and throwing me into stuff by my hair and slapping me and hitting me it all seemed harsh at first but I now hold the door open to elders say my pleases and thank you manners and I'm a happy 16 year old believe me and I love my dad! when I have a kid and he acts like that I'm gonna do the same thing my dad did to me kids in school need what I got as well as the whole new generation!!
Oh I was never allowed to even think of getting something of that size away from my birthday or christmas. The only time I got a big toy like that away from those times is when I won a competition and got £50 to spend wherever I wanted...
Since ur the dad u probably give in to ur daughter more so than ur son but I bet if u were the mom the boy would of been cryin instead... I kno as a kid I felt my mom gave in more than my dad
haha. Daddy was doing good until he tried to console her with another toy "at the front of the store". Here's what I would have said, "Honey, when you save up your money from doing EXTRA chores around the house, then you can buy that toy yourself". The funny thing is they normally end up buying something else. My kids understand they get toys as *gifts* for special days like birthdays & Christmas. If they want something in between times, they have to find work around the house & yard.
I'm just putting this out; thumbs up to the boy obeying the dad. When he said put that down, the kid let go and backed away, and what's more awesome is by the looks of it, he was the YOUNGER sibling of the two kids.
You have to love the people commenting on her pajamas. Come on, she's shopping at Walmart not being presented to the queen of England.
Seriously, I find it a bit strange when I see teenage girls walking around the mall in their pajamas (yeah, better call Ripley's!) but I guess I should've never moved from Pleasantville to the real world.
All the people saying these kids are not spoiled are wrong when my mum took me shopping and I wanted a toy and I was getting one later that day she would tell me to put it down I would then we would leave
Oh and one more thing. Kid, we all want things, but sometimes we don't get it. Just because you started bawling and crying for it doesn't mean you'll get it. Sure, we all did that once, but in the end we realize we earn the things we desire.
When I was a kid and I threw a tandrum, my mom just pretended to ditch me and go home without me. You have no idea how fast I came running back to her leaving the tandrum behind.
Hooray for bad parenting? "put that down put that down put that down" Why don't you just, I don't know, fucking take it from her? Yeesh. Parents these days are too soft.
@iditicdipshitz Maybe before you start making yourself look like an ass he was 7 yrs old, and I barely hit him and he even ran up to other people and screamed, so yeah I am a very caring person, I just won't tolerate being humiliated like that, I would NEVER hit a small child never ever, but he is 7 almost 8 now and he never gets punished so maybe you owe someone an apology for misunderstanding and calling me a douche when you didnt know the story
@iditicdipshitz He is 7 years old and he was even tugging on other moms and we got yelled at, and I barely hit him it was more of a pop to the head, I dont think thats fair for you to call me a douchebag when I an out of control 7 yr old turning 8 embarrass me over a $5 toy that I wasn't gonna get, he is a spoiled brat and he never gets punished
I'm 13 and I am not a spoiled brat and my friend and I the other day went to Walmart with his little brother and this is how he acted so finally I slapped him and told him I would show him hell
Why was the toy 'kicked' away from them? That was childlike.
Thirdly, the person filming this seemed more concerned with the filming than actually about the children. When I take my 3 year old to the shops I stay clear of the toy section. She knows if she is a 'good girl' she will get a treat.
If she does pick up a toy and I don't have the 'pennies' I tell her. Sometimes I get the tantrums, but I don't make a big deal about it. Just put the toys down and walk away.
this reminds me of my mother who act like that at the ripe old age of 88 she used to do that thing with her hands and cry if she did dot get her way ,
Hah a lot of us were like this at one time. The remedy for this was a good smack on the behind. Nowadays you can't even give a good spanking cuz of all these child abuse laws.
Why are human babies so downright ugly? Patchy hair, gelatenous bodies, fat little hands that are ALWAYS STICKY, and that mindless stare that they give me. *shudder* Ugh. Fuck that, I'm adopting a baby fox. At least their offspring can pass as 'cute'.
@NikkiOfTheCookies yeah STFU cause i bet u were one ugly as fucking baby cause u dont say that about peoples kids or ull end up knocked out cause ur such a dumb fuck ok so stfu...
I don't understand why someone would take a video of their child throwing such an embaressing tantrum..I have 2 little boys and if they ever acted like that they would be dragged out of the store and spanked on their butt..I am not saying I am the perfect parent but my boys have never behaved that way at home or in public.
giving her an option from the FRONT OF THE STORE is still giving her what she wants......
once I said I WANT after the first no, I heard my dad's belt loops whistling from that old strap of leather belt coming off to woop my but.....why can't we do that anymore ? but this was FAIRLY mild for the tantrum
This is actually pretty mild compared to tantrums I have seen before when I go to Wal-Mart and other stores with toy sections. I have seen a lot worse at those places.
im 12 and i dont think your kids are spoiled im spoiled i get watever i want. but your kids arent they just like new things. thats how it looks in my perspective. yours is by far the least epic. what my dad wouldve done to my lil brother was a smach on his butt and the phrase well talk about this when we get home which means you gettin beatin. but he loves us to much hed give him 5 smacks on his butt and send hm to bed early. we almost never get beat ive praly only got beat maybe once in my life
Parents, here is what you do in such situation: Tell your child that if they want it, they have to pay for it with their own money. No only you get out of the store without embarassment, you teach your kids the value of money and allowance. This works for my little brother that he started to collect cans for recycling and that how he earns his money. He saves his money and when he gets enough, he goes to the store to buy his own toy.
See, this never happened to me when I was a kid. The main reason is growing up I would get what I now refer to as "Pre-Ass Beatings" Before we went into any store my dad would nearly jerk my arm out of its socket and say, "Look, we're going in here, we're gonna get this, this, and this and don't ask for a fucking thing!" So I would get my ass kicked for shit I might do.
@charismaticace My Mother would say the same thing, only she would never swear at me, and she WOULD use the 'mother' look that meant 'if you start, I will take you to the shoe section and tan your ass with a pair of sneakers'. I knew she meant it, and I also grew up knowing that there was some behavior I was JUST NOT allowed, like what was being allowed in this video. I wish parents would be parents and not best friends.
I'm a parent coach and I want to tell you that you did so many things right...I would NOT call this an epic tantrum as I have seen many worse. I would love to use this video in my parent training at my parenting coach dot com
@myparentingcoachvids HEY THANKS!! I named this video with a few other ones that I had that were already in popular thread. I'm afraid to change the title because were already in the search rankings. One thing I have learned by reading these comments. There are a LOT of kids that are watching this..like young pre teen and teens. Its definitely worth noting that kids are watching this and venting about there own childhoods. That's why I dont get offended by most below!
@myparentingcoachvids You have our permission to use any of our content on YouTube as you may see fit. and if you feel like a laugh check out; How to beat your kids in the dollar store! HAAA!!! ;-) Thanks for watching.
@myparentingcoachvids Are you on crack? This is good parenting skills?!? You gotta nip this in the bud right off. This behavior of children in public at their age is unacceptable.
@lecagot2 Thanks for your concern about my use of pharmaceuticals. Meltdowns are stressful if they are in public places and at home alike and contrary to common belief, they happy at any age. Temper tantrums by adults are called "rage."
@lecagot2 Even the best parent will experience a tantrum in the span of their parenting career. This video displays a typical situation and the parent did many things right. He only made 2 of the three most common mistakes parents make when tantrums strike. The entire situation could have been avoided with the right tool, but most parents don't understand it.
Thanks so much for posting this video! I'm a parent coach and I want to tell you that you did so many things right...I would NOT call this an epic tantrum as I have seen many worse. I would love to use this video in my parent training.
@brendatrott And these are actually my little niece and nephews. My brother sent me this video when we decided to start our channel. All of these uploads come from me and my two brothers. All children in our videos are almost all related to us. We have a really good time with this and try not to offend anyone but its amazing just how much input were getting from this video. Do you see ALL these comments? Incredible. This is THE most commented on video we have in our collection!
First. I don't think it is bad she is in pajamas. (I cosplay, that is why.) Second. This is a horrible video! You take your kids to Wal-Mart and video tape your daughter throwing a tantrum in Wal-Mart. You "conveniently" have your camera ready to film it! Your daughter is going to be known as the Wal-Mart tantrum kid. My dad is cautious about what I put on, because he doesn't want me to be known badly, online and in real life. But, I will give you this, you are not bad as bad as a "pageant mom".
when my lil bruh cries i stfu you sound like a little 3 year old girl and i showed him this vid so he can understand why

That's 1 reason why you shouldn't bring kids near the toys area if you're not planning on buying a toy for them!

wow, looking back at this age, i woulda gotten "the belt" AT LEAST 5 times...at least
FLAMINGPICKLES 3 weeks ago
And if my previous comment does not work with your kids, consider corporal punishment. AKA....The belt.

The main reason is growing up I would get what I now refer to as "Pre-Ass Beatings" Before we went into any store my dad would nearly jerk my arm out of its socket and say, "Look, we're going in here, we're gonna get this, this, and this and don't ask for a fucking thing!" So I would get my ass kicked for shit I might do.
charismaticace 3 weeks ago

@myparentingcoachvids Are you on crack? This is good parenting skills?!? You gotta nip this in the bud right off. This behavior of children in public at their age is unacceptable.
lecagot2 3 weeks ago
@lecagot2 Thanks for your concern about my use of pharmaceuticals. Meltdowns are stressful if they are in public places and at home alike and contrary to common belief, they happy at any age. Temper tantrums by adults are called "rage."
brendatrott 3 weeks ago
@lecagot2 Even the best parent will experience a tantrum in the span of their parenting career. This video displays a typical situation and the parent did many things right. He only made 2 of the three most common mistakes parents make when tantrums strike. The entire situation could have been avoided with the right tool, but most parents don't understand it.

Just give her the toy, and then when 'Gramma' comes over, don't let her have the toy!
blingotheflashyfox 4 weeks ago
