Morales was the better boxer & won the clearest fight of the trilogy, fight 2, that was a terrible decision.
The other 2 fights were very close even if you do want to give them to MAB & the were only close because MAB was seen as a finished fighter going into both fights because he got Kod by both Jones & Pac... Erik didnt expect the fight MAB gave him in those fights bu he did in fight 2 & won clearly.
Morales has a better record/resume outside of their fights too + beat Jones & Pac.
barrera is just a very respectful guy, he gives credit when credit is due. in his eyes, he says morales is a better fighter than him, reason, he defeated pacman

i heard it was because they were playing soccer for some charity event and both were good friends but i think Morales made a harsh foul on Barrera then it all started!! Also cause well, they from different parts of Mexico. Either way both are great i dont think they are past their prime just yet. i still think they have several fights left in both of them and we'll see when Barrera fights the middle eastern dude!! Cant wait. Morales is supposed to come back this year!
