I hope by what he said at 7:52 doesn't mean they're nerfing the jetpack, I thought the Jetpack was pretty well rounded for what it was meant to do. I think the one thing they need to fix is the damage dealt by the Focus Rifle and make the sprinting armor ability last a little longer.

@iAMxWiL maybe its a good thing. halo reach is completely different and the fact of the matter is that if they were too similar they would have all the pro's from halo 3 coming over and doing a real number on how fair the game is until the rank gaps started to appear. now everyone has to start from scratch get used to and make choices like it said in the video.

Not really because I raped at Halo 3 and I rape at this, just not as much because the gaming world isn't about making skilled games any more, it's about making games for noobs. There is hardly anything new anyway, lets take a look at armour abilities: Invisibility is from H3, as is Armour Lock (Overshield), Sprint is in most other FPS shooters and the jetpack is hardly completely new, many games have had jetpacks, so Bungie are basically just fucking lazy.

@iAMxWiL i know i wasnt too bad at reach either though the recoil made it harder to hit with mid ranged weapons. i see your point there though. even modern warfare two has gone down the nooby road from what i have seen it is way easier to kill people now and to employ nooby classes. however about reach armour abilities it is definetley worth asking what other good functions could be added seems as everyone can cry plagarism now most things have been thought of already.

Being a sitting duck for snipers is the point, otherwise the Armor Lock would be WAY too powerful. Also AL emits an EMP after it ends, which will ruin any close-range foes' shields.

I think that Amor lock seems very flawed. If your at a long range, instant head shot when he unlcoks, at close range, keep punching untill he unlocks and get the beat down. It will be effective in teaam scenarios though, taking down shields and such.

I think that each halo game has a different feel to it, kinda like shoes. Halo CE felf like you were alone and hunted in a weird,weird world. Halo 2 feels very religious and like a space oddessy. Halo 3 feels very war-like and epic.Halo 3 ODST feels very heroic and like one of those old private eye stories. So I hope this isn't just like a rip off of one of those, because they all have their own charm.

Thier are no custom games in reach nor is thier Campain. OMG HALO REACH LOOKS SO AMAZING! I always thought the Campian was better than multiplayer in all of the halo games so I can only imagine what the campian will be if the beta looks this good! Can't wait! One more thing: If your going to have a jetpack or speed burst dont make it allowed to be in your loadout, make them spawn on certain points on the map...or else the jetpack will turn into the new juggernaut.
